I am 18 years old girl. I have pcod. I am having irregular periods and also having thick n coarse hairs all over body and face. These hairs growth are just like male pattern growth. They are increasing very fast. Please help. What should I do to rid of this?

I am 18 years old girl. I have pcod. I am having irregular periods and also having thick n coarse hairs all over body...
Pcod is a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. The sex hormones get out of balance. Normally, the ovaries make a tiny amount of male sex hormones (androgens). In pcos, they start making slightly more androgens. This may cause you to stop ovulating, get acne, and grow extra facial and body hair. Excess hair growth (hirsutism) slows when high androgen levels decrease. In the meantime, you can remove or treat unwanted hair with: laser hair removal, in which the hair follicle is destroyed by a laser beam. Electrolysis, in which your hair is permanently removed by electric current applied to the hair root. Depilatories, which are chemical hair removal products applied to the skin. Waxing, which pulls the hair out by the root. Shaving. Tweezing. Bleaching. Hair removal methods differ in cost and long-term effectiveness. Before trying one, ask your doctor about risks of infection and scarring.

For fever paracetamol is the first choice unless contraindicated. Tepid sponging can be done if high grade fever. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat healthy diet. Take adequate rest. Consult with more details.

Eating According To Your Internal Body Clock - Can It Help You Lose Weight?

MBBS, D.P.H & H, DFW & CH

Eating According To Your Internal Body Clock - Can It Help You Lose Weight?

When we talk about losing weight, the focus is always on what we are eating, as some diets prescribe fewer crabs and fats while others talk about increasing your protein intake. However, apart from looking at what you eat, you should also be looking at when you eat your meals in order to lose weight. There’s a time and a place for everything and this holds true with food as well. Each of us has an internal body clock that monitors various activities and primes the body to react in different situations and this is known as your circadian rhythm. To boost your metabolism and maintain a healthy weight, you should eat meals in tune with your circadian rhythm.

Quick tips that can help:

  1. Don’t wait too long for breakfast: You should ideally eat your breakfast within an hour and a half from the time you wake up. This jump starts your metabolism and energizes you for the day. Breakfast should be a heavy meal of about 300 calories. The ideal breakfast has proteins, complex carbs, and fresh fruits. This keeps you satiated through the morning and helps avoid mid-day snacking.
  2. Limit your snack time to morning: If you feel the urge to cheat on a diet, try snacking between 11 am and 2 pm. Avoid snacking in the evenings. This way, your body has enough time to burn the energy being generated. This keeps the glycogen being produced from being stored as fat.
  3. Space your meals evenly: Do not let your stomach be empty for too long between meals. Ideally, the gap between your breakfast and lunch should be the same as the gap between our lunch and dinner. This keeps you from overeating and gives your body enough time to digest one meal before getting started on the other. If you feel like the gap in the evening is getting too long, break your dinner into two parts and have 4 meals instead of three.
  4. Eat your last meal before sunset: You should finish eating your dinner before the sun goes down. The later you eat your dinner, the easier it is to put on weight. This is because our bodies are designed to slow down after sunset. Thus, digestion takes longer. This can result in a slower metabolism and insulin fluctuations. A late dinner can also interfere with your sleep cycle thus making you start the next morning cranky. You should give yourself at least three hours between your dinner and your bedtime. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Possibly you have polycystic ovaries. You need to get a hormonal assay done as well. Treatment will depend on these results. It is also very important you have a healthy diet and maintain your body weight.

Adding arbitrary amount of baby formula is wrong practice. One flat scoop of formula is to be diluted in 30 ml of clean drinking water to make ideal formula milk for a baby. Hence the amount of formula milk is to be made in multiplication of 30 only. Addition of arbitrary amount of formula can make milk concentrated or diluted. Concentrated milk can make baby thirsty, dehydrated and can affect kidneys on long term while diluted milk has less calories and proteins which won't support baby growth and development. Hence make sure baby formula feed is to be made perfectly as advised. Only this can help baby to grow healthy. If baby is less than 6 months old then baby should be given exclusive breast feeding. If mother has lactation issues then better she should take help from gynaecologist or lactation specialist.

I Am not Able to Work More than 3 Hours I start Feeling Tired and even headache. What should I do.

BAMS

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from tiredness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

The skin can lose its glow and get dull and discoloured. Sun exposure, chloasma, freckles and scars due to acne are just a few reasons. Although not a life-threatening issue, people with dull and darkened facial skin usually consider it a life-altering one, leading to feelings of inadequacy and decreased self-confidence. This, in most cases, leads to the haphazard use of cosmetics and medicated ointments. However, only temporary results are usually found and in some cases injudicious use of such products may even aggravate the condition. This brings us to the scope of homeopathic treatment in such cases. We can confidently say that homeopathic remedies for clear and glowing skin are totally free from any side effects and are extremely effective in treating this problem. The medicines used are all natural and, thus, free from any harmful components.
