Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? Ok tk relaxation treatment do hot fermentation and gentle massage if it work then ok otherwise tk tens and ultrasonic therapy firstly avoid long standing and avoid strain till relief.

I am feeling tired and lazy. Legs are also paining. What should I do to feel fresh.
For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time.

Sir my Mri findings ,right knee-mild medical degeneration in post horn of Med meniscus, grade 1 chondromalacia patella, mild quadriceps tendinitis Left knee-mild medical degeneration in ant and post horn medial meniscus, subtle quadriceps and patellar tendinitis ,grade 1 chondromalacia patella. Finished 7 days of oral medication ,what is my prognosis .the scan was taken 14 days after.

Prognosis is good. Do not worry. There is slight meniscus and tendon inflammation. Chondromalacia patellae means undersurface of patella (knee cap) is inflamed. Just take anti inflammatory medicines, do ice fomentation (3 times per day). It will take 4-6 weeks for inflammation to subside.

Go for blood investigation. Paracetamol will only decrease fever and pain. The actual cause must be treated. Blood investigation to be done. Cbc Esr

You should take Acupressure therapy and take Ferrum phos 200x + Kali mur 200x 4 tab each thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days than consult online. And take Alfalfa tonic 2 tsp 3 times a day.

Hello doctor. I am a student and have to commute by bus daily. But since last week I am having pain in my knees. This pain gets worst in the night and even when I am walking. Since two days there is vein stretching due to which it has become nearly impossible for me to walk. My both legs are aching severely. I have tried cold packs and shelcal tablets for calcium but nothing seems to work. Please advice.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
