The topic of today is cervical spondylitis. Cervical spondylitis,  back pain and  shoulder pain,  is a very common problem today.Thousands of people are suffering from it today and, they are not getting a proper cure especially after the age of 30s and 40s. You generally develop a pain in your shoulder, in your back and you are helpless as you are not getting permanent relief from this problem. If this problem is acute, it can be managed within two three days but if it becomes chronic, then it can result into various problems like spondylosis.

Spondylosis is change in your spine, bone changes in your spine and when they occur we call it spondylosis and it can also lead to vertigo. If these muscles are stiff and 99% of the vertigo which is happening today, the cause, for that is, cervical spondylitis only.  I would like to tell you homeopathy has a very good role in treating this problem and in a very simple way, in a most natural way. Suffering back pain fm several years. Already consult fm doctor n taken some prescription also, but cudnot get rid of. I left the same as it is n still suffering.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I have problem in my ankle the bone was broken and fix ,dr advice me to wear ankle brace from last two years but when I was starting these days running or some hard workout my whole leg start paining too much what was reason and how I treat this problem?

I have been fracture my collarbone from 2 month. I was wear figure 8 bandage about 45 days. Can I get strong collarbone before fracture.

Yes if your fracture was not much displaced, it unites well and you can get strong collar bone in 3-6 months.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning for 6 days.

Fever with joint pains are the common symptoms for both dengue and chickenguinea. Keep checking for any rashes. Make her drink at least 3 liters of fluid a day to prevent dehydration. Complete rest.

Resp sir/mam, I am a 26 year old male having backpain for 4 months. Initially it was on lower left side of spine but today it is at right side and slightly above. I had many visits to the nearby hospital and received shortwave diathermy for 7-8 days which gave some relief. I apply osteoflam which gives temporary relief. Please help as the pain seems to settle somewhere deep and is discomforting. Whenever I sit with straight posture there is no pain, but when my back posture couch it starts paining somewhere deep in the back. Also, after doing some amount of exercise the pain subsides for sometime. I know that I need to loose few pounds as my stomach is bulging but first I need to be cured. Ps: there is no pain in the legs so it is not a case of slip disc thankfully.

You need to do regular exercise to build up your back muscles. This will also help you in getting your shape back and loose some weight. Also get your vit. B12 vit. D3 and calcium levels checked. Often these are low and can cause backpain. Only mri scan can find out whether there is any slip disc. If mri is normal you need not worry about it otherwise get it done asap. The shoulder is a ball-and-socket joint that has three main bones: the humerus (long arm bone), the clavicle (collarbone), and the scapula (also known as the shoulder blade). These bones are cushioned by a layer of cartilage

The shoulder joint is a very mobile joint which makes it very susceptible to injury. It moves the shoulder forward and backward. It also allows the arm to move in a circular motion, and to move up and away from the body.

Shoulders get their range of motion from the rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is made up of four tendons. Tendons are the tissues that connect muscles to bone. It may be painful or difficult to lift your arm over your head if the tendons or bones around the rotator cuff are damaged or swollen.
You can injure your shoulder by performing manual labor, playing sports, or even by repetitive movement. Certain diseases can bring about pain that travels to the shoulder. These include diseases of the cervical spine of the neck, as well as liver, heart, or gallbladder disease.
You're more likely to have problems with your shoulder as you grow older. It is especially common after age 60. This is because the soft tissues surrounding the shoulder tend to degenerate with age.
Most shoulder pain problems are:

  •   tendonitis/bursitis, injury or instability of the joint, or arthritic disease.
  •   rotator cuff syndrome is a strain or sprain or tear of the tendons that make up the rotator cuff.
  •   rarely, tumors, infections, and nerve damage cause shoulder pain.
  •   much neck pain is caused by soft tissue damage due to injuries such as whiplash or wear and tear due to overuse.
  •   damage to spine joints and bones, such as cervical disk degeneration, arthritis, or traumatic injury can cause severe pain and disability.
  •   fibromyalgia (whole body pain syndrome) can contribute to neck and upper back pain. Poor posture while performing everyday activities can also cause significant neck pain. Rarely, infections or tumors will cause neck pain.
  •   pinching a nerve in the neck or shoulder, or breaking a shoulder or arm bone, are also causes of pain.
  •   a frozen shoulder is when tendons, ligaments, and muscles stiffen and become difficult or impossible to move.
  •   a dislocated shoulder is when the ball of the humerus pulls out of the shoulder socket. An injury due to overuse or repetitive use can cause injury

Swimming injuries most commonly occur as a result of: overtraining poor technique sudden spike in workload (non-graduated) treatment involves manual therapy but more importantly, finding the root cause of the injury and modifying stroke technique to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Common treatment modalities include: adopt a good stroke technique mix it up! avoid overtraining in one particular style of swimming core strengthening, rotator cuff strengthening and land based exercises done pre, post and during your swimming season. Tens machine. Ultrasound. Mobilisations and manipulations. Rest, ice, compression, elevation (rice). Please see a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your condition. Best wishes.

I am 36 years old . My left side chest is paining (like heart attack) since 1 year. All reports of heart field (tmt, ecg, ecco) are normal . What should I do? There is no pro. Of heart some doctors want me to sicretrist .and some told that it is muscular pain .I m taking all type of treatments of heart, stomach,muscular pain, from 1 year .but no relief tell me . You maybe most probably suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. You have to avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If your problems are worse, you need to take an ecg and take medications. Consult me in private for prescription medications.
