10 Study Tips to Improve Your Learning Study Tip 1: Underlining Underlining is one of the simplest and best known study tips. It’s easy to highlight the most significant parts of what you’re reading. One key sentence per paragraph and a few important phrases here and there. You can only retain a certain amount so it’s best to retain the most important information. Study Tip 2: Make your own note and taking notes is one of the most widespread study skills out there. Essentially the aim of note-taking is to summarise lectures or articles in your own words so you can easily remember the ideas. Study Tip 3: Mind mapping A good Mind map can save you many hours of study and further consolidate your knowledge for your exams. Mind Maps are an extremely versatile tools. They can be used for brainstorming, outlining essays or study topics and for general exam preparation, ExamTime offers the ability to create Mind Maps quickly and easily which makes them the ideal tool when it comes to exams. Study Tip 4: Flash cards:- Using these are a particularly effective method of learning when trying to assimilate different facts, dates, formulas or vocabulary. Subjects such as History, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Geography or any language are made much easier if you incorporate Flashcards in to your study. Study Tip 5: Case Studies Sometimes it can be difficult to grasp the implications of some theories. This is where studying case studies can be a big help. Case studies can help you visualise a theory and place it in a more familiar and realistic context. This is especially useful in business or law subjects. Study Tip 6: Quizzes are an excellent way to review study notes in the weeks and days before an exam. Quizzes can show where your strengths and weaknesses are, so it allows you to focus your efforts more precisely. Moreover, if you share your Study Quiz with your classmates and test each other as much as possible you can discover even more details and areas you may have overlooked. So before any exam, make sure you create and share a bunch of different Quizzes with your Friends. Study Tip 7: Brainstorming This is another study technique that is ideal for studying with friends and/or classmates. Brainstorming is a great way to expand every possible idea out of any topic. Just get a bunch of friends together and shoot the breeze, there are no wrong answers when brainstorming – just talk and capture the ideas, you can review afterward. Study Tip 8: Mnemonic Rules Mnemonics are especially useful when memorising lists and sets. Mnemonics rules basically work by associating certain concepts with other concepts that are more familiar to us. There are many different ways to make mnemonics and these can be individual to the person. Study Tip 9: ORGANISE your study One of the most effective study skills is also one of the most often overlooked; this is organising your study. Creating a TIME TABLE gives you goals and a time in which to achieve them. Having a study timetable as you study is greatly motivational Study Tip 10: Drawing Many people find it easier to recall images rather than text that is why they are better able to memorise concepts if they associate them with pictures or drawings. I am 89 year old & tired with life, I want to end my life. Suggest some easy way to end the life with one stroke only ?

Hypnotherapist, DCS, BSIC, Advanced Trainee of Transactional Analysis, Advanced Skills in Counselling
Psychologist,
In india, it is not yet legal to help in euthanasia. I doubt, if anyone will suggest anything in this regard. Yet, I do suggest that whatever days of your life are left, live it with an attitude, that this life will never come back again. Have an attitude of gratitude and remember all those things that were good in your life. People who were good to you, you were good to some people etc. Try to give back a little to the society, because this brings a happiness, which no amount of money can. This make your last days more peaceful and happier. If you have any queries, please contact me on private chat. Take care.

Hello. I am 23 year old male. I was mentally harassed by my elder cousin from 2006 to 2013. I told my problem to my parents but they did not pay any heed to it. So my mental harassment continued on. In 2013 my attendance fell low due to lack of transportation. My attendance fell short. I again told my parents but they did not pay any heed to that. As a result of that I was made to rewrite my exams as of no fault of mine. I had to travel to 15 Km of distance by my own even in jaundice. But no one bothered to ask my problem. I wished to fill up my Engineering Entrance Exams forms but my parents still did not supported me. I was mentally harassed by my own relatives and my parents. As a result of constant strain my body weight fell from 68 Kg to 55 Kg. No one supported me when I was in a need. Please prescribe me some medicines to get my physical health back on track. I was constantly kicked up in my life and was mentally harassed too. I hope that your medicines will help me to attain physical and mental health too. Thanking you for being an patient listener.

You have been traumatized as a teenager. Right now you are in a victim mode. That is not helping you take charge of your own life. Unfortunately we can not change anyone around us. What we could do is change ourself and how we respond to the situation. You have a long life ahead of you. I would strongly suggest you to seek help. Find a counselor or psychologist near you whom you could trust and feel comfortable with. Talking on a regular basis will help you shift your focus and energy and also help you learn ways to deal with the stress and situation better. You will also be able to take charge of your own life and decide what is right and wrong and what could help you progress further. If you are interested in working online fee free to contact me. Medicines does not hold solutions for all problems in life. Sometimes we need to change the way look at life and be a part of solution instead of feeling helpless and hopeless. I do hope for the best outcome for you, wishing you best,

MBBS, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy

A course of tablets and creams is needed for treating your problem depending upon the grade of your acne and your skin type, as different type of acne require different types of treatment. A sebum regulating face wash, will be helpful. A non comedogenic sunscreen should be used. Drink plenty of water daily and also avoid hair oil application. "Please put up 2-3 clear pictures in natural light of the affected area for better evaluation and guidance

I have acnes and some pimples on my face. I had used lot of cream. Kindly suggest me some home medicine.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
* When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.
