Hi lybrate-user, chances are that you will have a normal pregnancy now. However, I would suggest that you visit a gynecologist who is a IVF specialist or infertility specialist to know your other options as well. I am not trying to scare you, just trying to well prepare you. There are various options an IVF specialist can provide you. Here some information on various type of IVF treatments: Type of Fertility Treatments 1. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a reproductive technology in which a doctor removes eggs from the ovaries with a small needle passed through the top of the vagina. The extracted eggs are then combined with prepared semen inside the lab – starting the process of fertilization. After this happens, the resulting embryo is placed back into the uterus via a small catheter passed through the cervix where the embryo implants and develops. 2. Gamete Intra Fallopian Transfer (GIFT) is a similar to the IVF procedure, except the eggs are first combined with washed semen inside the fallopian tubes before fertilization. GIFT has no benefits over IVF. Now GIFT is rarely performed because, doctors must do a laparoscopy. 3. Intra Cytosplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a procedure in which the doctor injects a single sperm into each egg, using a microscope and sophisticated instruments to perform the procedure. ICSI is performed as part of the IVF treatment cycle. It can increase the chance offertilization and is often recommended when the male partner has a low sperm count. In fact, ICSI has given new hope to men who have been previously diagnosed with male infertility. For males with absolutely no sperm, doctors can perform Donor Insemination (DI), in which donor sperm is placed inside the uterus via a procedure called intrauterine insemination. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Bronchodilator Abuse - Why Homeopathy Is A Better Option?

BHMS
Homeopath, Rajkot
Bronchodilator Abuse - Why Homeopathy Is A Better Option?

Bronchodilator is the miracle drug that helps to relieve breathing problems caused by blocked bronchi and bronchioles. Such problems may be caused by conditions like asthma, COPD, allergic reactions, etc. With over 15 million asthmatics living in India, use of bronchodilators has become quite common in the country. However, with the usage of bronchodilator becoming commonplace, cases of bronchodilator abuse has gone up.

Conditions that Require Bronchodilators for Management

Asthma
Asthma is a condition where the bronchial tubes get swollen, resulting in it getting narrowed. This reduced passage area for the air to enter and leave the lungs lead to breathing difficulties. Bacteria, virus, pollutants, dust, chemicals etc. can trigger this condition.

COPD
COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is an irreversible lung condition that is caused by prolonged exposure to irritants such as cigarette smoke, pollution, and genetic predispositions in some people. Though this condition cannot be cured, its symptoms can be controlled with certain medications and lifestyle changes.

What is Bronchodilator Abuse?
Bronchodilator abuse is the misuse of this respiratory medication. This misuse is usually classified under two categories,

  1. Taking incorrect dosage of this medication
  2. Individuals taking this medication without it being prescribed to them

These two instances have been observed in various age groups and social scenarios. Some of these scenarios are:

  1. Children use it as an anxiety relief method
  2. For increasing lung capacity while exercising
  3. To increase attention and alertness

What are the Complications of Bronchodilator Abuse?
Bronchodilator overuse has been seen to be associated with a number of complications. Some of these problems are:

  1. Increased heart rate
  2. Trembling of the hands
  3. Mild intoxication and being slightly euphoric
  4. Worsening of asthma as the lungs get used to expanding to a large extend, losing its normal ability to function
  5. Headache and nausea

Treating Breathing Problems without Bronchodilators – The Homeopathic Way
Breathing Problems can be treated in alternative way using homeopathy. The treatment may vary depending on the condition that leads to the breathing difficulty. Homeopathic treatment is done in a symptomatic manner. This lets the healing process be more holistic and takes care of individual needs of every patient. It targets at an overall improvement of health and not just the condition. They don’t just treat the disorder, homeopathic medications strengthens the body’s constitution from within.

The homeopathic remedies to control breathing problems are less harmful. These medications do not have the scope of being abused like bronchodilators. However, all of these medications should be taken under the supervision of a recognised homeopathic practitioner to obtain best results.

Hello Doctor, My endometrial thickness not increase from long time 5.3 only what can I do to increase thickness?

BHMS, Diploma in Dermatology
Homeopath, Hyderabad
Thicken the Endometrium Fertility doctors often prescribe medications that can thicken your endometrial lining. They may prescribe other drugs, too, that are designed to increase your chances of conception. Some of these medications have side effects, like multiple births, which may not be desirable to you. Working with a fertility clinic is also very expensive. If you have been told that your infertility may be a result of a thin endometrium, you can try to thicken it using a home remedy before paying for other fertility measures. The uterine lining responds to the levels of estrogen and progesterone in your body at any given time. As your estrogen level rises during the course of your menstrual cycle, the lining will increase. If you have a thin lining, you may simply need estrogen supplementation. Recent theories state, however, that taking synthetic or animal-derived estrogen may increase your chances for breast or uterine cancer, as well as heart disease. Rather than a prescription, you can try plant-derived phytoestrogens. These substances, found in soy, red clover and other plants, act the same way as your own estrogen in your body, without the health risks. You can find phytoestrogen supplements at your local pharmacy or health food store, and online. Follow package directions, and be sure not to overuse these products. Changes in hormone levels can affect many aspects of your health, not just reproduction. If you supplement with phytoestrogens, and still have trouble conceiving, consult with a qualified fertility expert.
