Ankle and pain in other joints in older females can be due to many causes most commonly Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and can be associated with Osteoporosis and Vitamin D Deficiency. Need to investigate her before starting proper treatment. If the joints are not swollen and not associated with pain in fingers or morning stiffness then usually indicate OA. Better get an X Ray and for heel pain start following treatment 1. Vitamin D Supplements along with calcium 2. Hot water fomentation using salt water 3. Ankle exercises can be done in hot water at the same time 4. Heel raise and soft footwear Consult with X Rays if needed

I am regularly checking my blood sugar level for last two months. Fasting sugar level remains between 110 to 130 whereas PP level remains at 140 to 170 level. Whether I am a diabetic patient or not. If I am a diabetic patient, what medicines is recommended to control the sugar level.

Yes, you are a diabetic. Kindly follow diabetic diet and exercise daily for at least 30 minutes and revert after 1 month.

Hi. You should take tab. Ipill 72 with in 72 hours. It make you safe. And pregnancy also depends on your period timing. Most chance of pregnancy are in days before 5 days of menses and after 5 days of pregnancy. If this happened other days of this days then no chances of pregnancy. Avoid late night party or more intake alcohol.

This is stress/ panic tremors.your thyroid profile is normal.The treatment for this is calmness.Practise to remain calm,in busiest of locations.Focus on a small prayer or a slok. Get up in the morning n meditate. Read books.Dont be conscious of anything or anyone.Develop self confidence, by meeting ppl n interacting regularly.

Hi, If you’re aiming to gain some strength and build muscle, you must follow the points mentioned below: Start exercising. If you’re a beginner, focus on bodyweight exercises like push up, pull up and squat.  The basic push up and chin up are invaluable exercises you can do with very little equipment. Increase their difficulty by adding reps or affixing weights to your legs. Consume a balanced diet. It's important to eat big meals to fuel muscle growth while you're training. You’ll need to eat healthy, whole foods that will nourish and restore your muscles. Consume all types of fruits, vegetables, grains, oils and dairy products. Take adequate rest. Many people take this step lightly, but it's absolutely essential when it comes to gain strength. That means you won't be able to work out as hard or lift as much as you otherwise would, not to mention you'll be more prone to injury if you're feeling sleepy. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night, possibly more depending on your individual needs, during heavy workout periods. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chicken breast, egg whites, fish, pulses provide you all the protein you need without containing any unnecessary fat. Focus on compound movements. Compound movements are those which engages more than one muscle group. Exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift are great examples of compound exercises to gain strength quickly. Lift heavy. If your main aim is to gain strength, you’ll need to lift heavy weights in the gym and thus, lower the repetitions of your sets. Moderate-rep sets are important when training for muscle size. However, to build strength, you're going to have to train with heavier weights, meaning you'll do fewer reps. Limit cardio to once or twice per week. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and biking are great ways to keep your endurance good and your circulation healthy. However, they aren't the best exercises you can do if your goal is to gain strength. Weight training requires loads of energy, and if yours has already been used up by a long run or bike ride, you won't have enough left over to give weight training your best shot. Limit cardio to once or twice per week so your energy reserves are ready to expend on building strength.

My grandfather- 83 fell down a few days back. Today his x ray reports confirmed a crack in his femur. He is very active and would walk for 5 hours a day. He has been advised complete bed rest for 8 weeks. What should be done now? Should not he wear a brace or plaster to aid healing?

Hello dear if he have crack near Head or neck of femur he advised to do a surgery for hip replacement of neck of femur. And if he have crack on shaft of femur he suggested to operate with a rod or a plaster he have to use brace or do plaster over there. After these he can able to walk with Walker then stick and finally with out any support but now follow the striations of the following doctor. Thanks and regards Dr.

obviously it is a serious issues. stop it you are taking very high dose plz this is the worst thing you can do with your body. check your liver function and CBC for finding how much it effected you and then consult. I'll tell you how to detox the effort and deaddiction.
