I am 30yrs old lady. I have 2 yr old baby. I am having pain in my both knee, legs and foot. Sometimes I feel stress in wrist also. I was having esr test. Everything is normal range, haemoglobin is less, I cud nt find any reason for this, but I am feeling very restless, now from last 10 days waist pain has started in back side. Kindly suggest me what to do. I do contract fomentation which one doctor suggested. In heel also I feel acute pain.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

I have back ache due to bad travel since last 3 days. I applied balm and had some aspirin still the discomfort persist. Can you suggest some medicine for immediate relief.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 22 and suffering from backache. I had taken zedocef but it doesn't seem to work. What should I do?
1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar.

Hello lybrate user, get her x-ray of the knee joint in standing weight bearing position in anteroposterior and lateral projections. Mostly it is has osteoarthritis of the knee joint wherein the articular cartilage of the joint gets progressively degenerative. Common in old age and indian population use knee caps regular exercise hot water bag some natural medicines x-ray and her level of discomfort will dictate the management plan. God bless you.

Hello. Carry on with back exercises. Maintain right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hello dear according to your condition you do hot fermentation daily three times in a day with duration of 15 min. Do full stretches along with breathing hold it for 15 sec then release sure you feel better in 2, 3 days.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily

First heat fermentation with rest time and tk muscle relaxant medicine. After this start stretching exercise of spine and strength exercise must for you but gradually process and avoid toward bending long sitting.

Pain in muscles /CRAMPS is a common condition. Do hot fomentation Keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take IBUPROFEN 200mg OD & SOS x 5days L-carnitine 500mg OD/BD X5 days You will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises It may have to be further investigated Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

My wife having backpain (sever) from Feb 2014. L4-L5 Disk Shows diffuse posterior buldge with posture-central protrusion more left side compressing bilateral traversing nerve root & indenting bilateralexiting nerve root more on left side. Liagmentum flavum hypertrophy andfacetal arthropathy adds to secondary canal narrowing at same level. Since Feb 14 taken medical treatment from Spine Specialist in Pune. Also have ayurvedic treatment for 8 months. Pain reduced to some extent. Having a problem for sitting on floor. Advice for complete cure.

Physiotherapy can definitely help her. Start with back isometrics, prone back extension, prone leg extension, bridging exercises. She need to take physiotherapy sessions which includes us, ift, hot formentation do visit some physiotherapy centre near your place.

Since you are on antituberculr treatment. You may be having these symptoms due to side effect of these drugs. Gastritis/ gas, derange liver function / jaundice, loss of appitite, weakness etc are some very commonly seen side effects. Please consult your doctor for physical check up & base line blood investigations/ sonography as per need. Take light but nutrious diet at short intervals. Avoid oily, spicy, junk foods, excessive tea/ coffee etc. To prevent acidity. Take care.
