I am 14 years old and I want longer, thicker, manageable and appealing hair. How?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I am 14 years old and I want longer, thicker, manageable and appealing hair. How?
1.Wash hair sparingly and use a good-quality shampoo. Washing hair too often can leave hair dried out, leached of its natural oils, and may damage your hair. Aim to shampoo your hair at most every other day or even only twice a week. 2. Try shampoos that do not contain sulfates or parabens. Sulfates are the chemicals that make shampoos lather up. Parabens are preservatives that cause irritation and eye problems after prolonged use. Both of these chemicals aren't healthy for you or the environment so try to use shampoos with natural cleansers 3.. Use conditioner that matches your hair type, length, and treatment damage. A good rule of thumb is to condition every time you shampoo your hair, although very processed or dyed hair probably needs a little more love than natural hair 4. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, use conditioners that come with balanced ingredients. 5. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing, twice a year. Doing this helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it treats dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal. 6. Moisturize your hair. Use five oils: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Alternately, use egg oil. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out. Repeat twice a week. 7. Eat healthily. Give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet will ensure hair that looks and feels better. • Make sure you get plenty of vitamin C. This vitamin strengthens hair. In addition, iron helps transport oxygen to blood vessels, zinc grows and repairs tissue, and omega-3 fatty acids grow healthy hair. • Give your hair some time to show new brilliance. What you eat will not have an immediate difference on the hair you already have, but it will help with hair that is newly growing. • 8. Remove stress from your life. Physical and mental stressors will keep your hair from realizing its full potential. Stress can cause hair loss, so try not to let stress overcome you. This means finding healthy emotional outlets for your stress: yoga, biking, meditation, or other forms of exercise all work well. • 9.Tips • Stress has a bigger impact than you think. Meditation can be very helpful, as well as exercise. • Put an oil on your hair at night before going to shower because this makes your hair shiny. • Do not sleep with wet or damp hair. This will weaken the follicles and make hair strands brittle. Blow dry in low heat at the roots before bed. • Most people use more shampoo than they need. Depending on hair length, you probably only need about a quarter sized dollop. • Don't blow dry hair too frequently. Frequent blow drying, or use of other heat products, can stress your hair. • Rinse your hair under cold water after you finish shampooing and conditioning to make it shine and look even more luscious than it was before. • When towel drying, don't rub the hair vigorously. This splits the hair. Try using a micro fiber towel as they soak up lots of moisture. • You can naturally strengthen your hair by mixing carrots, or Vitamin Water together in a blender and rubbing gently into hair before you wash. Be sure to wash out well.

Start to take gluten free diet when suffered from celiac disease but the gluten free diet are not permanent treatment. (Avoid is no solution of any problems)

You May React Badly to Gluten Cross-Contamination.
When you were eating gluten every day, you likely didn't react to individual instances of gluten ingestion. However, once you remove it from your diet, you may find your body reacts somewhat violently to gluten cross-contamination in your food. Or to a bite of that gluten-filled cake that you simply couldn't resist. This is one of the most surprising gluten-free diet side effects.
A reaction to gluten in your food may come quickly (within a half-hour in some cases), or it may not appear until the next day or even later. Your digestive symptoms may come in the form of diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, reflux, gas or even vomiting. Meanwhile, you may also experience other symptoms, including fatigue, joint pain, brain fog and even bouts of depression due to gluten.
All this from a crumb? Yes, our bodies' somewhat strenuous reactions to gluten-containing foods can be a bit startling, once you've gone gluten-free.
Still, don't be alarmed if you get these recurrent symptoms ? and take a look at my tips for recovering from an accidental glutening. Once you can function again, take a look at your diet to see where you may be getting hidden gluten

Celiac Disease: How to Recognize and Manage Them

BDS
Dentist,
Celiac Disease: How to Recognize and Manage Them

Celiac disease is a serious genetic autoimmune disease with over 300 symptoms, and most people manifest with a combination of them. It is caused by intolerance to gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and other cereals. Gluten is usually present in the small intestine, and in patients with celiac disease, the lining of the small intestine gets attacked. Consequently, a number of organs and/or body systems are affected, making it extremely difficult to pointedly say that a person has celiac disease.

These symptoms cover almost all systems of the body including reproductive to digestive, cardiovascular to endocrine, respiratory to neuromuscular, and even affect the bones, and the teeth. Another major variation also is the age at which celiac disease becomes symptomatic. While some show symptoms quite early in their childhood, some others show symptoms later in their life, and some may not manifest with any symptoms all through their life.

Talking of the oral/dental symptoms, there are two main causes for concern one involving the soft tissues and the other involving the teeth. Let us look at the two in a little more detail.

Similar to the canker sores or the usual mouth ulcers, celiac disease also cause whitish sores. Unlike the canker sores which appear on the lips, the celiac mouth sores are common on the insides of the cheek, gums, lips, palate, and sometimes even the tongue. The appearance is very similar to that of aphthous ulcers, which have a whitish or grayish margin. They appear at random with no specific reason. The soft tissue lining of the digestive system is present from the stomach or intestine all the way to the mouth, and therefore these ulcers are seen. These can be quite discomforting and interfere with nutrition. Topical creams and/or gels can be applied to treat them. If celiac disease is diagnosed by then, abstaining from a gluten-free diet will help relieve the symptoms. Else, they may continue to recur and symptomatic treatment would be required.

The second oral symptom of celiac disease is the presence of visible defects of discoloration in the enamel. There are usually white, brown or yellow spots, usually discolored on the incisors and molars (front and back teeth). The bad news with the tooth issue is that these do not go away once a gluten-free diet is adopted. Depending on the severity, these may require tooth whitening treatments ranging from bleaching to veneers to full crowns.

The next time you have a group of symptoms, with the above two oral symptoms, contact your doctor and have a detailed discussion. It does not take much effort to diagnose and treat celiac disease.

Hi 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home). 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea.

What are the symtompos of swine flu? Which precaution should we take in this deseice?

What are the symtompos of swine flu? Which precaution should we take in this deseice?
Hello, symptoms of swine flu are similar to most influenza infections: fever (100 f or greater), cough, nasal secretions, fatigue, and headache, with fatigue being reported in most infected individuals. Some patients may also get a sore throat, rash, body aches, headaches, chills, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Good hygiene can help reduce the spread of a wide range of viruses, including the influenza viruses. 1. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze. 2. Use disposable tissues instead of a handkerchief if you have a cold and throw the tissue in dustbin after use. 3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth too often as this can lead to you contracting the disease. 4. Wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol based hand rub (hand sanitizer). 5. Viruses also spread by droplet infection which might have deposited on common objects like phones, laptops, common desk, and chairs so avoid touching too many objects and wash your hands if you do. 6. Try and avoid close contact especially with people who have flu. 7. Maintain a minimum distance of 6-10 feet to avoid airborne transmission. 8. Children less than five years of age and elderly should avoid crowded places.

Does regular masturbation is harmful or does not harm in anyway to body physically or mentally This is only the question.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Does regular masturbation is harmful or does not harm in anyway to body physically or mentally This is only the quest...
Dear lybrate user, sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily. Over masturbation increases the rate of production of sperm to such extent that the demand for protein cannot be fulfilled naturally & it often results in breakdown of protein from muscle tissues. This breakdown of muscle tissues is externally manifested as fatigue, weakness etc. Addiction to masturbation denotes that you are continuously indulged in sexual thoughts. This type of thoughts is common in people who live a sedentary life. If you really have a sedentary life-style you should get yourself out from it immediately. Socialize yourself. Do some physical exercise daily. Drink a lots of water. Create a routine of your daily schedule & maintain it. Stop watching porn in case you have developed a habit of watching it also you can take homoeopathic mother tincture origanum q, 10 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. This medicine will help to control your excessive sexual desire. However, you can masturbate for twice in a week. In order to minimise the after-effects of over-masturbation you can take homoeopathic cinchona officinalis 30 or china 30, 5 drops, thrice daily in empty stomach. This medicine will help to fight the seminal debility caused by the sexual exertion created by over-masturbation. Also I would like to advise you to conduct your semen analysis test. It will reveal the abnormalities in your semen if you really have any. If you find any abnormality in your semen analysis report

Is it possible to take painless gum scaling treatment using advanced laser treatment.

BDS, MDS - Pediatric Dentistry , Certificate Course in Conscious Sedation
Dentist, Hyderabad
Is it possible to take painless gum scaling treatment using advanced laser treatment.
Pain is very subjective - different people react to it differently. Having said that, a procedure such as scaling can vary from painless to mild sensitivity to severe pain depending on the condition of the gums and pain threshold of the individual. If your gums are already inflamed and there is pre-existing gingivitis, you can expect mild to moderate sensitivity during scaling (even with laser assisted scaling). This can easily minimized by using an anesthetic gel or cream which the dentist will take care of. For advanced gum disease, your dentist will give you an injectable anesthetic to make sure the procedure is not painful.

Your complaints are suggestive of possible depressive illness or mood disorder. Such symptoms can occur due to personality traits like being too sensitive to environment leading to chronic stress or endogenous chemical imbalance in brain. In both cases professional help is important. You may want your thyroid function and vitamin b12 and d3 levels checked too as they escalate mood disorders.

My wife has seven month pregnancy. She having cough and cold. What is doing in it?
If it is coming with fever she will need a safe antibiotic. If the cough is dry and severe and giving breathing problems, then also best to use a good antibiotic for 5 days. Otherwise, simple cough suppressants and anti-histaminics may suffice. Keep the neck region covered. Warm saline gargles. Lots of fluids in diet.

I didn't loose my weight post maternity. What to do for that still im on mother feeding. My baby is 1 years old.

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science

I didn't loose my weight post maternity. What to do for that still im on mother feeding. My baby is 1 years old.
Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: limit non-nutritious foods, such as: sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages cut down on high-fat foods by: choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken, fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine.
