Hi, Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

This is become a very common diagnosis in young girls and women who present with a history of irregular/ prolonged/delayed periods. Not usually associated with pain.
Pcos is a genetically inherited condition and usually is linked to a family history of diabetes. It is associated with high levels of male hormones- androgens/ testosterone and hence features of hirsutism which is developing male type hair pattern in female i. E unwanted hair on chest/ face etc// tendency to develop acne and oily skin. It is also usually associated with obesity/ overweight. Usg pelvis shows presence of numerous small cysts in ovary. Many women might find it difficult to conceive as because of hormonal imbalance an egg is not released every month. There is also a preopensity to develop type 2 diabetes later in life.
Almost all the symptoms are treatable with medicines. However as it is genetically linked and has long term health implications the single most important thing is to try and reduce weight and mantain normal bmi. This can be achieved by a combination of exercise and diet.

Hello. I am here to disclose what's actually happening to me since 20 days. I didn't had any bad habit even till 3 months ago but due to some fantasy I started smoking weed in my area which is not of high quality. Till now hardly I had smoke 10 to 15 times and the last time was on December, 14th 2016. On that day I had an adverse effect of some kind of panic attack which caused high heart beat, some kind of paralyzed effect and took a bath straight away to get out of that. People here say that some insect repellent is sprayed on that weed to increase the weight. I didn't inform the right reasons to my parents and went for EEG test, CT scan, 2d echo pad test and ECG. My doctor saw it and all reports were normal. I'm still having heaviness in head and face and numbness, pain in hands and legs. I had muscle spasm before. I'm afraid that I'm having a neurological disorder or its just due to anxiety ?Please help me.

Hello lybrate-user! It's a mistake to indulge in Weed smoking. Now that you have stopped, it's good. What you are experiencing is complications due to these hallucinogenic drugs. Don't worry, they are time bound phenomenon. They will go away in due course of time. DON'T BE ANXIOUS, IT'S QUESTION OF TIME BEFORE THEY WILL REDUCE. But if at all You smoke again, they will come back with double the vigour. Take care and be safe.

height is usually always dominated by genetics. How short are your parents? if you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you won't grow very much more. There are no amazing magic ways to get taller. Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get tons of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching. Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height. Take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water.

Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Causes and Symptoms of Sweet's Syndrome

Sweet's syndrome is when you suffer from fever as well as painful skin lesions. These skin lesions usually appear on your head, arms and neck. The cause of Sweet's syndrome is still not known. However, it is known that certain medications, illnesses and infections are a possible trigger for Sweet's syndrome. Sweet's syndrome is such a condition that the symptoms usually go away in a few days but it may come back later on. To know exactly what causes Sweet's syndrome and what the symptoms of it are, read on.

Causes and Risk Factors:
As mentioned earlier, the exact cause of Sweet's syndrome is not known. However, there are certain factors which put you more at risk of getting it than others. Here they are: 

  1. Gender: It has been proven that women are much more likely to get Sweet's syndrome than men.
  2. Age: The young and the elderly are at a risk of getting Sweet's syndrome. However, if you are in between 30 and 60 years of age you are especially at risk.
  3. Illnesses: If you have an upper respiratory infection or inflammatory bowel disease then you are more likely to get Sweet's syndrome compared to others. Flu-like symptoms also put you more at a risk of getting Sweet's syndrome compared to others.
  4. Pregnancy: It has been seen that pregnancy increases your risk of getting Sweet's syndrome.
  5. Drugs: As mentioned earlier, certain antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as well as azathioprine are all linked to Sweet's syndrome.

Symptoms-

  1. Small Red Bumps: As mentioned earlier, the main symptom of Sweet's syndrome is that you will develop small red bumps on your neck, arms or head. The size of the bumps tend to increase quickly and then they spread into painful clusters.
  2. Fever: A fever is also very symptomatic of Sweet's syndrome. The small red bumps usually appear abruptly after you get a fever.
  3. Upper Respiratory Infection: The small red bumps also appear abruptly after you have got an upper respiratory Infection.

It should be noted that Sweet's syndrome is often associated with cancer and has commonly been linked to leukemia. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist.

Dear user, we are listing few remedies to get rid of white hair. 1. Apply mahabhringraj oil on your scalp and massage follow by giving hot water fomentation. You can put 1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils before going to bed. 2. Take pranacharya allergen capsule twice a day. Increase the intake of proteins such as soybean and egg white. It is advisable to avoid tea, coffee, spicy food, fermented food and junk food. Only use ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp and avoid synthetic shampoos. Do pranayama early morning.

This is known as vasovagal syncope or postural hypotension. All you can do is some stretching in bed before getting out of bed. Check your haemoglobin, bp and sugar levels. I hope all will be ok. Nothing to worry if these stats are ok.

Hi, move the person out of the heat and cool him or her by whatever means available, for example: put the person in a cool tub of water or a cool shower. Spray with a garden hose. Sponge with cool water. Fan while misting with cool water. Place ice packs or cool wet towels on the neck, armpits and groin. Cover with cool damp sheets. Let the person drink cool water or other nonalcoholic beverage without caffeine, if he or she is able.

I'm 23 year old. N I think it m in a depressed mood. As I failed in my exams. And now I hv to clear 3 sem together. N only one month is left in front of me. Do not kw how to concentrate back on my studies n clear those studies. My brain is not at all in astst to think anything. Can you suggest something through which I can concentrate on my studies n get cleared. please help .

Hi, see in order to concentrate on studies you have to first remove the stress that you are undergoing and thats very simple. Start with yoga exercises. Do anulom vilom, kapalbhati and meditation for 1/2 an hour. Make a habit. And see your stress runs away and concentration increases. Take following homoeopathic medicine *tablet tranquil (sbl) 4 tabs to be chewed 3times a day 1/2 an hour before meals. *tablet biochemic 1 4tabs to be chewed 2 times a day 1/2 an hour after meals for 1month and let me know.
