No scientific evidence has been found against this notion. However, luke warm water early in the morning helps to activate your gut and to clear bowel.

If you want to refer for clinical issues, it is best to consult a nutritionist or dietitian for that matter. I am sure no one goes through medical case books to refer medicines. It is same with diet. If you need proper dietary intervention and treatment, take professional help, do not go by books or self treatment.

Hello doctor. I am from silchar. One of my aunt was suffering from some uterus problem and appendix too. For which it was removed a month ago. Bt still she's so weak. Even she can not walk. Her hemoglobin is 9.5 and her potassium level is also low which is something at 2.4 approx. Please suggest.

Please provide her medication details and exact kind of surgery she underwent. And her age, height and weight. Grossly for potassium rich foods, please provide her banana, coconut water, dal liberally. And to raise hemoglobin please give her iron and folic acid rich foods. Provide her citrus fruits like mausambi, orange, guava, lemon. And for iron dates would be helpful.

Hi lybrate-user. You have perfectly fine body weight. 54 kg is your ideal body weight. Always remember, underweight is as dangerous as being overweight is. So, do not unnecessarily try to cut down on your weight. Focus on being fit. Eat a balanced diet, work out, meditate and you will be at perfect state of health! Good luck girl! :)

Skipping meals cannot be a solution ever to lose weight, infact you should eat small meals atleast 5-6 meals per day including dinner. Try to cut down high sugar, high fat. Try to improve your protein intake both in quantity and quality. Stay hydrated. And for belly fat, do the right type of workout which would help you like crunches, sit ups etc. A gym trainer would guide you better in terms of right kind of exercises.

Hello sir, Could you please suggest me rich source of protein, carbs, healthy fat and fiber food.
Go for animal proteins like meat, fish and eggs, milk. Veg sources would include dals and legumes like chhole, rajmah etc. For carbs, have more of rice and wheat products. Healthy fat includes nuts. And for fibre have more of green leafy vegetables like spinach, lettuce etc.
