According to america's national stroke association if your heart beats out of rhythm, it is more likely to have a stroke. To check for atrial fibrillation do the following steps:

1) Tap your foot according to the rhythm of your pulse (place your fingers on your wrist where radial artery beats) for one minute
2) If your foot is tapping steadily, like a clock ticking then you are ok. But if it's uneven then you need to consult doctor.

Wash Fruits And Vegetables In Rainy Season!

Wash Fruits And Vegetables In Rainy Season!
  1. In rainny season wash all vegetables and fruits thoroughly
  2. In rainny season wash all vegetables and fruits thoroughly, esp green leafy vegetables, cauliflower, broccoli, brinjal, roots and tubers which harbour larvae, worms and dust. Clean them under running water.
  3. Steaming them is the best way to get rid of germs. Soaking the greens in salt water for about 10minutes can help remove insects.
  4. Research has shown that using just plain old water can remove 98% of the bacteria when it is used to rinse and soak produce.
  5. If you decide to use vinegar, research has shown that a 3 part water to 1 part vinegar is most effective. A soak of five to10 minutes should be sufficient. Try to get the water temperature as close to that of the fruit or vegetable that you wish to clean. When you have a variety of fruits and vegetables, it might be best to wash these separately.

Actually I had sex with my girlfriend by using condom & she got pregnant and had miscarriage. Is condom not safe for sex? What was the reason to become pregnant. Please advise.

Hello Doctors, During my pregnancy my Thyroid test was positive, I took thyronorm 37.5 mg. After the delivery I have stopped taking the medicine. Now 2 months after my delivery I have gone through TSH test today and got the result of 5.37 and the normal range was below 5.2. Do I need to continue with the medication? Does it affect to my baby? Please suggest on this.

Hello TSH @ 5.37 is near normal but on higher side. It need to be taken care of. But I would suggest you take good homeopathy medicines that can set the system right. Continuing the earlier Rx will only be giving you temporary relief. Your current TSH level will not affect your baby anyway Regards

Hi I am 28 years old. I am 14 weeks pregnant now. I have been diagnosed with Gestational diabetes and I am on medication with glycomet. I hav been closely monitoring my blood glucose level and it is always been under the normal range during fasting between 87-102 mg/dl. However, the post breakfast range (after 2 hours) keeps fluctuating between 141-157 mg/dl. My last post breakfast range was 145 mg/dl. My Doc has asked me to take insulin shots. My first question, is it necessary to take insulin for these ranges. I have been doing walkings and adapted to lifestyle changes and following my diet strictly. Is it safe to consume insulin? Would it affect my baby?

The fasting range for pregnancy should be ideally less than 92mg% and the 2 hours post meal should be less than 153mg%. Try to maintain this range with glycomet, diet and exercise. You may even consider increasing the dose of glycomet. Insulin is only for uncontrollable conditions. If the sugars are under control then it won't have any negative impact on the baby. Both glycomet and insulin are very safe in pregnancy.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. You must always have faith in your doctor. Also it is very important to ask your doctor regarding the medication you are taking and why it is given. It is your right and responsibility to know what is the problem and what is the treatment. You have not mentioned what problem you are having with regards to your infertility. But as for medications prescribed vito dha is a folic acid supplement and EVECARE is to improve your menstrual irregularities and help fertility. Always be clear with your doctor. Don't be unaware of your own body or health or the medication you are putting into your body.
