I have kidney stones about 25 mm in right kidney and recently pcnl has been done to me. What I have do to stop the stones formation in kidney. I have obesity problem also what I have to do to reduce my weight. Please give me answer.

Dear, it is very evident from your kidney stone that previously you used to live a very hectic lifestyle and used to drink very less water. Please don't repeat the same mistake again in future. Always remain hydrated. Try to drink at least 200 ml (one glass) of water after every 1 hour. It is not so tough. Drink water in small amount but in repeated intervals. Drinking water also will help you to reduce weight. But since you have undergone a major treatment recently I would not advise you to start exercise immediately. Give a rest to your body for at least 1 month. In the meantime you can adjust your food habit. Just don't take fatty foods in excess.

  5. Filler injections: This is a common procedure used to improve the appearance of skin. It involves injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin to remove wrinkles and fine lines and increase skin volume. These injects help plump up the skin and make it look more smooth and supple than before.

My wife Ms. Vijaya Laxmi, 38 years old is suffering from hypothyroidism from last two year. She is taking 62.5mg thyroxine sodium: 62.5 mcg tablet from last 4 months and latest results of TSH is 2.46 uIU/mL on 25/7/15, I think it is quite normal. Before 4 months when she was taking thyroxine sodium: 50 mcg, she got done a test after taking for previous 3 months, it is TSH 5.5 uIU/mL it is a bit high. My problem is that she is having back pain for last 3/4 years, now she is also having back pain and pains in the fingers/ body are also happening. As per TSH results her hypothyroid was not that much high levels and even after TSH gone in normal range her problems are not diminished. Around 8 months back as per doctors advise she was increased dose of Thyroxine from 25mcg to 75Mcg. At this time after a week or two she started coughing and cough increased to a lot in a couple of months. Her CT Scan shows lymphadenopathy, but TSH was gone down to -1.4 uIU/mL. So, when thyroxine was reduced to 50 mcg then immediately there was no cough at all within three days. So Please suggest what patient has to do. She is having backpain, tiredness, her TSH is in normal range now. She was taken calcium tables also for quite some days. Please suggest

I have started running for last 2 months. Now I am trying to increase my pace to 6 min per km. But when I am done 3-4 kms it starts paining in my upper abdomen on right side just below rib cage. What could be reason and solution.

This is side stitch. Stretching may relieve the pain of a stitch. Reduce pace until pain lessens. Some pain alleviation can be achieved by grabbing an object such as a small rock and clutching it firmly in your hand whilst running. The alleviation is believed to stem from the fact that this gives your body something else to focus on, rather than the pain in your side, and although the effectiveness of this method is individual, it can for a lot of people make quite a significant difference. Massage or press on the area with pain. Bend forward to stretch the diaphragm and ease the pain. Raise both hands above the head and inhale fully, expanding the abdominal and thoracic cavities, then exhale fully, tightening core muscles to do so until pain subsides.

Hello doc I am having a lower back problem from 1 month. Doc advice me for xray. And the report is showing that straightening of lumbar spine is seen with loss of normal lordatic curvature. What does it mean .can you help me in this by how to cure this problem NOTE I have also taken Physio therapy but works for short time.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am overweight. When I brisk walk, my leg sorta jam up. Is it just because of my weight? I practice surya namaskar on a daily basis.

you should be around 67-71 kg so you need to loose at least 30 kg weight to come in the ideal body weight category, only walking and surya namaskar won't help, get a good diet planned for yourself along with 45 min to 1 hour of workout schedule, for at least one year.

When I eat milky things at night like curd. Milk. Desi ghee. Paneer. Etc I get my penis wet with a transparent liquid. And after whenever I go to pee I find my urine very smelly.

MIx 1 spoon Isabgol Husk with 2 spoon fresh curd and feed twice in a day, till the stool become normal. Will ease in 1 or 2 dose. Also give electrolyte inbetween to recover water loss in loose stools. Take care, if you are offering Kadhi to the child, add curry leaves, methi and ajwain in it while cooking.

I am 64 years and recently I had undergone bypass surgery to heart but now I am having dental pain dentist told me that my wisdom tooth has to be removed and also she told me that BP and sugar should be under control. In my case Bois 160/90 and sugar is under control kindly advise me what to do.

Dear Lybrate user, There are so many reasons of right side headache like sinus neck muscles stiffness, indigestion, migrane let me know some more details call back. Take three drops of peppermint essential oil in one tablespoon of almond oil, olive oil or just water. Massage your forehead and temples with it. Or, you can put crushed fresh peppermint leaves on your forehead. Alternatively, you can prepare a steam treatment by adding a few drops of peppermint essential oil to a small pot of boiling water. Inhale the steam for a few minutes.

I have gain weight very wast after did some exercise. Please give me some suggestions.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running.
