Hello there are many reasons of pain you should go through proper investigation. Physiotherapy is the best treatment for this condition. There are many reasons for this type of pain- 1. Overuse of muscles, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, etc. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by providing correct ergonomic and physio-therapeutic tips. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints. 4. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 5. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. Thanks. Wish you happy and pain free life.

It might be of plantarfascitis or calcaneum spur do take ust and laser therapy for pain relief for 10 days followed by strengthening exercise from physiotherapist best wishes.

Hi, I am 39 years old. I feel pain into my legs quite often, specially when I get up after sitting for long hours at the work place. I have a sedentary job (sitting in front of computer mostly). I got my Vitamin D tested and it came out < 8. After that I started taking Vitamin D supplements in terms of sachets (cholecalciferol) - almost 3 months. Although pain has subsided a bit, but still it happens at times. Please suggest what can be further course of action.

I get swelling in my feet if I sit on a chair and hang my feet down, or when I stand for a long duration, say an hour or two it becomes normal when I lie down and stretch my legs for a few hours.

These swellings are called as dependent swellings. A cardiac cause is not ruled out in this case nor you age factor. You should do following things 1) use pillow below your legs while sleeping 2) avoid long standings 3) go for a complete cbc test a kft, lft and check your blood pressure 4) in the mean time visit a nearby physician.

I am 46 years male. Doctor I am suffering from cervical spondylitis. But in order to do exercise I had bought a treadmill. But some of my family doctor had suggested me that treadmill will increase my spondylitis. Is it true or false.

Treadmill will do no harm.But for cervical spondylosis you need neck & shoulder exercises along with other physiotherapy measures.Anti inflammatory drugs along with antioxidants also help in recovery.

Is shoulder dislocation require surgery? Allopathic surgeons have suggested it. Suffer the problem since 15 yrs. Can not move right hand straight upward. If not no problem. Any other remedy or exercise. Dislocation happen only if I move my right hand straight upward. Feel uneasy in right shoulder if carry weights. At this age l am afraid of operation.

Dear sir, If you are having recurrent dislocation and its disturbing your life style everyday then I may suggest go for surgery but if you have not frequent problem then don't go for it at this age do some shoulder muscle strengthening exercises at home Thank you.

My mom is having knee pain, she say that joints are cached, while walking it hearts.
From you mom's condition it feels like she has developed Knee Osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis can occur at any time of life but the incidence increases with age. It usually affects people over 40 years of age. There is no cure for osteoarthritis but the progression of the disease can be slowed and pain and disability reduced. Treatment options include: Healthy body weight: Maintaining a healthy body weight will reduce stress on the arthritic joints. Nutritional supplements Supplements such as glucosamine have been reported to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis and halt, or even reverse. So please try to take this supplement once a day. Exercise Exercise can assist with the maintenance of muscle strength and the mobility of arthritic joints. Activity at a level that does not cause pain is not thought to worsen osteoarthritis. Non weight-bearing exercises such as swimming or aqua jogging in a heated pool may be beneficial. Range-of-motion and stretching exercises will help maintain the maximum possible movement in the joint. Stretching will help maintain or restore flexibility to the joint’s muscles and tendons. You can apply cold or heat several times a day to reduce your knee pain. Just remember to cover the cold pack with a towel and keep your heating pad at a low setting to avoid burning your skin. Whether you use heat or cold, remove it after 20 to 30 minutes. If the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities you should avoid until knee pain and swelling resolve: Squatting Kneeling Twisting and pivoting Consult a Physiotherapist privately to know the details of these exrcises and other management for OA knee.
