Girls stop growing around age 14-`15, about 2 yrs after the onset of menses. So it is my advice not to bother for height now. Do not run after the different product claiming for gain in height at this age, they may harm you. Try to concentrate on your health.

First, apply heat to your eyes by rubbing your palms together and then placing them over your eyes. Hold your hands over your eyes for five to 10 seconds, and then repeat. Do this before performing any eye exercises in order to prepare your eyes! Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will seriously help improve your eyesight and keep it from deteriorating. It is also important to eat the right vitamins to support eye health. Vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin A, C, and E, are all important to eye health. Anti-oxidants (remember eating carrots for your eyes?) are also a great source of nutrients for healthy eyes. Our Rebuild Your Vision Program actually recommends 17 different vitamins you should take to support your eyesight Supporting your eye health is just one of the many benefits of getting enough sleep and taking breaks during the work day. If you work on a computer all day, your eyes are probably under a lot of strain. Do yourself (and your eyes) a favor by taking a break for about 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent in front of the screen. Simply close your eyes for a minute or get up and walk around the office. Focus on something that isn’t a screen. You can also rest your eyes by following the 10-10-10 rule. This means you should look at something 10 feet away for 10 seconds for every 10 minutes you spend working on the computer! One of the fastest ways to improve your vision naturally is to perform daily eye exercises. Eye exercises are meant to strengthen the eyes and improve vision. Using eye exercises can even eliminate your need for contacts or glasses. Get a regular schedule of eye exercises and try to do them daily – this will help you get in the habit of performing exercises and also help you achieve better vision fast Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Rolling is one of the easiest eye exercises! Without straining your eyes (remember to stop if it hurts), look up as far as you can. Then, look down. Repeat this 10 times. Now look to each side, repeating 10 times. After that, look in each diagonal direction. Finally, roll your eyes in a counter-clockwise motion about 10 times, then reverse the movement and roll them clockwise. Grab a pen and hold it at arm’s length, making sure the pen is at eye level. Focus on the tip of the pen as you move it closer to your eyes. Stop when you get about six inches away from your face, and focus on the tip as you move it back to arm’s length. Remember to do this slowly and focus on the tip of the pen. Repeat about 10 times. Massage your eyes after exercising. First, massage your temples with your fingertips or one of your knuckles. Move in a clockwise motion several times, and then switch to a counter-clockwise motion. Massage over your eyebrows and under your eyes as well. When you’re done exercising and massaging, apply heat to your eyes once more by rubbing your palms together. If your eyes are really tired, close them and rest for a few moments. Resting your eyes frequently, as described in the previous section, is very important to preserving the health of your eyes!

lybrate-user, Insulin is essential in T1 diabetes as there is no other drug that works in that condition. If you have T2 diabetes then unless diabetes is very severe with blood glucose levels over 300 to 400 mg/100 ml, there may be no need to start with Insulin. There are enough good drugs available which give excellent glucose control. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user 1. I am sorry that I can't recommend anybody here as lybrate does not allow me to recommend anybody here 2. Daily routine: keep sugar level under control via proper diet, exercise and medicines 3. There is no permanent solution for diabetes, you can just control it but you can't cure diabetes get yearly eye check up to rule out diabetic retinopathy.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

I am a male of 57 years suffering from depression from last 25 years. I took many antidepressant medicines. From last two years I was taking zosert 50 mg. One at night and was feeling well, sleeping well. Now suddenly from last one month, I am very un happy, no interest in works and remain in my bedroom, not want to talk to anybody. Then I increased dose of zosert 50 gm to 100 gm up to 20 days but no progress, then I again increased the zosert 100 mg to 200 mg but no progress. At night I was also taking Ativan 2mg. For sleeping. Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.
