I'm using melamet cream since 10 months I got positive effects but after some reviews I heard that it's bad for skin. I have even heard that using hydro quinine 2% doesn't cause any harm. I have stopped using this cream since 10 days didn't find any changes on my face. I have 2 questions is there any chances of turning black again if yes then how to maintain that fairness which has come to my face? Please help me and do the needful please.

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Causes That Could Be The Reason For Your Hair Fall

Hair fall also known as alopecia is a problem encountered by millions of men and women worldwide. Hair fall can be a very distressing problem and can make you feel depressed. Hair fall may happen due to several reasons. Finding out the root cause of your hair fall will help you to deal with your problem more efficiently. Following are some causes that could be the reason for your hair fall:

  1. For some people hair fall may be a hereditary problem.
  2. Hormonal imbalance may at times lead to hair fall.
  3. Stress can be a leading cause of hair loss.
  4. Frequent use of hair styling tools may cause your hair to fall rapidly.
  5. Consuming steroids like birth control pills very often may result in uncontrolled hair fall.
  6. diet with insufficient amount of protein can trigger hair fall.

But there is no reason for you to be disheartened, because there are many treatments available for controlling hair fall. Homeopathy offers promising remedies for reducing hair fall.

Some of the treatment methods are mentioned below:

  1. If your hair fall is due to scalp diseases like dandruff or eczema then your homeopathic physician may recommend you medicines like Psorinum.
  2. Your doctor may recommend you medicines like Pulsatilla or Sepia Officinalis, if hair loss happens due to childbirth or after menopause.
  3. If hair fall is due to alopecia then your doctor may recommend you medicines like Calcrea Carbonica.
  4. Homeopathic medicines like Fluoric acid are used for growing back your hair if bald spots appear on your scalp due to hair fall.
  5. Medicines like Lycopodium are used for growing back your hair in case of complete baldness.
  6. Silicea is a common homeopathic medicine prescribed for hair fall in case of young people.

Hair fall must not be ignored. You may consider visiting a homeopathic doctor if your hair is falling at an alarming rate.
