I am 21 year male, i've sensitivity problem in my teeth! I can't even drink normal water! what should I do?

You can try following tips- -brush and floss regularly. Use proper brushing and flossing techniques to thoroughly clean all parts of your teeth and mouth. -use a soft-bristled toothbrush. Brush gently and carefully around the gum line so you don? t remove gum tissue. -use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Several brands are available. Regular use should make teeth less sensitive. You may need to try several brands to find the product that works best for you. Another tip: spread a thin layer on the exposed tooth roots with your finger or a q-tip before you go to bed. Use a fluoridated toothpaste, not a tartar control one. -avoid lots of highly acidic foods and drinks. -use fluoridated dental products. Using a fluoridated mouth rinse daily can decrease sensitivity. -don? t grind your teeth. Use a mouth guard at night. -see your dentist every 6 months (or sooner, depending on your condition). If you still have discomfort, talk to your dentist. There may be a procedure that can help. He might recommend: -white fillings (bonding) to cover exposed root surfaces -fluoride varnishes applied to the exposed root surface -dentin sealers applied to the exposed root surface.

Get scaling polishing done by a dentist than brush twice daily especially at night use betadine mouth wash drink plenty of water.

Quit habits strictly. Seems like you have oral submucous fibrosis (osmf). Kindly consult an oral & maxillo facial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need conservative or surgical management for mouth opening depending upon the stage of osmf. Advise full mouth opening, ballooning exercise & side to side movement of the jaw. Wrap 25 to 30 ice-cream sticks, make a bundle, put it between upper & lower front teeth for 15 minutes thrice a day increase 1 sticks each day.

Hi make sure tat your mother is out of stress and start having nutritious food and try to control having medicine cos the main reason could be immune is compromised cos of having medicine for various other reasons.

It’s acidity which may be causing jaw pain. Do salt water rinses every 2-3 hrs and consult a gastroenterologist in person.

  • Regular clean ups/scaling can actually help in protecting your teeth rather then making them loose or sensitive. Its the tarter which if left unremoved can go apically to your gums and bone leading to early reduction in gum level and eventually early loss of teeth.
  • Change your toothbrush every three months, if its not worn out in three months that means your not brushing well, if its worn out before three months your doing an aggressive brushing. Your professional cleaning should be done every six months to keep a healthy mouth.

Yes you may, but do warm saline rinses 6-7 times daily for a week and avoid sharp food like chicken bones, fish etc. For few days.
