Migraine headache is characterised by 1.unilateral pulsating headache associated with nause/vomiting and photophobia / phonophobia. 2. There are triggers for migraine like sun exposure, certain foods or smell, lack of sleep, excess caffeine etc. The triggers are variable for different patients. 3.Migraine attacks can be managed by simple painkillers like paracetamol but in resistant cases drugs like Sumatriptan may be needed. 4.For frequent episodes of migraine preventive medications are to be taken by prescription. Follow these lifestyle changes to avoid migraine headache 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily ( aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it. 6. Meditation and pranayam have shown to be of benefit in migraine patients. Hope this helps, for further details / information consult .

I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache •1.You can turn off light for some time •2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. •Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. •Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. •3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. •4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. •Minimize distractions. •Your eating habits can influence your migraines. •Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. Fasting increases the risk of migraines Avoid foods that trigger migraines kindly consult Physician for further management

I am 59 years old having undergone angioplasty in June 2015. Post procedure, I suffered from acidity, constipation and muscular pain around heart region. As soon as I recovered from this, I suffered from back pain and pain in gluten area. I could not sit on a chair for long. My wife was diagnosed with parkinson in February 2016. She has responded to the treatment and doctor has given positive feedback to her. I am also having difficulty at work front due to non cooperation of colleagues. Antidepressant by the Psychiatrist Estazolam5 half tablet also created headache and I was sleeping the whole day. I am able to understand that I am in a difficult situation and I also feel that I need to get on with life with new realities, but not able to do so.

Excess of antidepressant drugs does have side effects. So avoid it as much as you can, take it when necessary. You need to be social and be thankful to the almighty that you are alive and you are the one who have been blessed with life among millions of sperm. Be social, go to park daily, talk to people, enjoy every moment of your life with your wife. You may also take homoeopathic treatment for all your health related issues.
