Good afternoon sir. actually I am working in wipro at night shift. Due to less sleep I am facing so many problems.

Good afternoon sir. actually I am working in wipro at night shift. Due to less sleep I am facing so many problems.
If you have been into night shifts continuously for long time your body will adapt for it but only thing is you should compensate night sleep by sleeping in day. The shift changes too frequent are not good for health. But try to maintain a sleeping place during day, where your sleep should not get disturbed due to outside noises and chaos during day time such as vehicle horns, hawkers voices etc.

Yes you can recover now if you eat healthy. Weight gain is a slow process it take time. And it need well planned balanced diet along with physical activity and proper rest. You need well plan diet suited to your needs. Mean while here are few tips for you- Start eating small frequent energy dense meals instead of 3 large meal. Small meals are easy to digest and keep digestive system running. You can eat small portion of healthy food in difference of 2-3 hours have shakes of fruits with added nuts drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water. Eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables. Manage stress Quit smoking or drinking if any do some moderate intensity exercises for 30 minutes daily. Have positive body image appreciate your self Take sound sleep of 7-9 hour keep your self motivated as it not going to happen overnight. Consult me online for better results.

I am 17 year child I have an habit of chewing nails I tried to not to chew but it don't. so, tell what to do.?

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
Chewing nails is a sign of anxiety. If you remain pre-occupied with worries always and unknowingly chew your nails, later on you realize the same, then it goes towards anxiety related sign. If you remain aware that now you are going to chew your nails, you try to resist it, but despite best of your efforts you are compelled to do it, then it goes more towards impulse control disorder. In any of the above case you require to be prescribed few psychotropic medicines like fluoxetine for a period of time along with psychotherapy for cure.
