How I cure it ?
Lot many causative factors are there for shortness of breathing, an attack may be brought on by contact with substances to which the person is sensitive and emotional or dietary factors should not be overlooked. A sudden change of temperature can bring on an attack. Some alleviation of the symptoms may be obtained with the use of the appropriate tissue salts,(biochemic) cuprum ars alternate with ferrphos, kali phos and mag phos if one appears to be more effective than the others, then you may take more of it. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication.

Hi take ginger tea mixed with 2-3 crushed garlic cloves. Massaging the chest with warm sesame oil mixed with salt helps to loosen the phlegm deposited in the chest, especially, when followed with steam inhalation. Take shwas kuthar ras twice a day. Pranacharya asthamin capsule 1-1 twice a day. And pranacharya shwas vikarasav 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take hot water steam.

I have been seeing blood in my saliva when I spit but it is only about an size of very small. This is from past 3 months or so could you tell me what to do? Is it normal? Yes I used to smoke but its was last year and I smoked for a year or so.

Blood in the saliva may be from mouth cavity or from nose or lungs. First see a Dentist to get oral cavity examined. If normal see a Physician for examination, and investigations. Blood in mouth must be diagnosed first and should be treated immediately.

My friend have low BMR. Which is 2002. Though he is regularly exercising and eating proper, nutritious food in appropriate quantity. And still his immune system is very weak, he gets tired very soon. Also he has breathing problem in minor quantity. Shot should he do?Please tell.

Hi need to know your friends height, age and current weight to better guide you. To fight low immunity and related problems, include dried fruits, curd, buttermilk, fermented foods like idli, dosa and probiotic drink in the diet. Drink lots of water. Improve hygiene conditions. Also do daily exercise and breathing exercises. Would recommend you to get your friends vit b12 & d3 checked as well.

Hi you can also make decoction of cinamom 1/2 tsf+honey1 tsf+ginger juice 1 tsf +tulsi leaves 1-2 in 1 cup of water reduce it to 1/2 and have it twice a day for 10 days. If not controlled see a good physician.

Common cause for mouth breathing in children is presence of adenoid glands in the air passage. Blocked nose due to cold etc. Can also cause this. Best precaution is making the child to sleep on sideways. Have check for the above.

Hello there, for cough, take 2-2 teaspoonful of pranacharya kasantak by mixing it in hot water twice daily. Sitopaladi, praval and tankan bhasm churna taken with honey can also bring relief. Consume this 3 to 4 times a day for relief from dry cough; you can also drink tea with basil leaves or add ginger and black pepper in it. Salted hot water gargling also helps. And stay away from cold drinks and don't take milk when having cough.

I'm suffering from cough and feel like coughing forcibly like there is something in my chest, I'm a singer and everything I sing I feel like I have a scratch on my throat and then I have to cough very hard to just feel good. I want to get rid of this cough which is aggravated anytime if exposed to a bit cold, even if I sit on a cold surface.

You maybe most probably suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. You have to avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If your problems are worse, you need to take an ecg and take medications. Consult me in private for prescription medications.

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold. they are all easy. -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.staying at home will keep you from spreading germs.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can impair your sleep -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Complications like infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily

I am 25 year old, i've been suffered from sinusitis since long time and this problem is increasing day by day. What should I do to get relief from this problem?

My baby is four year old and he is always suffering from chest congestion he is away from cold intakes like ice cream etc. But still from past three years he is been given cough syrup and antibiotics am worrieabout its side effect. Otherwise he has no other issues he is healthy has no complaints but am tired giving medicine all the time for cheat congestion and cough.

Unless the cough and cold is infectious you don't need to give antibiotics and medicines children develop their maximum immunity in the initial three four years yiu can give him honey mixed with ginger juice to lick a tsf three four times a day and give him steam inhalation regularly everyday don't jump to the medicines unless the problem is very much.

I am 35 year old, I have the problem of ulcerative colitis for 3-4 years. I have problem of mucus and blood in stool. I am on a permanent medicine balcul. Every after 8-10 months the problem gets aggregated.

Hi, ulcerative colitis is a form of inflammatory bowel disease. It is a chronic inflammation with ulcers (open sores) in the innermost large intestine. Please take homeopathic. Choose wisely
Be mindful about choosing heart healthy foods; for example:
- plant-based diets low in fat, salt and added sugars
- high fiber and whole grains
- lean protein
- foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (flaxseed, salmon and other fish, certain oils and nuts)

2. Read food labels
The labels on the side of food and beverage packaging provide a lot of useful information about the nutritional content, including calories, sodium, cholesterol, fat, sugars and key vitamins per serving.

3. Mind your portions
Many of us overeat without really knowing it. Portions at restaurants even the size of bagels, baked goods and other prepared items have steadily gotten bigger over the years. Know how much is too much, and which foods are better to load up on. Some people find it helpful to visually divide their plate and pre-portioning healthy foods for the week.

4. Learn how to cook healthy
How you prep your food is important; try to avoid frying food and substitute unhealthy fats when possible. It's also best to make snacks and meals from scratch and limit processed foods, which often contain hidden sodium and added sugars.

When you do eat out try to reduce your calories, fat and salt by asking for:
- no added butter or salt
- half of the portion to be boxed up before they plate it for you
- the dressing on the side

5. Limit alcohol
Experts advise limiting it to one drink a day for women and two for men.

8. Ask for help
Don't go it alone or attempt to cut out major foods groups or make too many changes at once; your efforts can backfire. Talk with your health care provider or nutritionist about how many calories you should be consuming each day and come up with an eating plan that is realistic and fits your life. Ask your partner or family to help you stick to a healthy diet.


A healthy diet can help you maintain a healthy body weight and control your blood cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar.
