If you have milk teeth still retained please get them extracted. But permanent teeth are usually mistaken as milk teeth, so get that confirmed by visiting your near by dentist.

Continuous bleeding is happening from my teeth since last week. What should I do?
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedures. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Bleeding happens due to swollen gums and swollen gums happen because of plaque and tartar formation on the teeth. You need to visit a dentist as early as possible to get appropriate treatment.

Chocolate s, sweets, candies, sticky food, cocacola, pepsi, etc cause tooth decay if not rinsed properly after taking them. If blood is coming then go for scaling. Gums bleed when there is infection.

There are several causes of tooth discoloration, including: foods/drinks. Coffee, tea, colas, wines, and certain fruits and vegetables (for example, apples and potatoes) can stain your teeth. Poor dental hygiene. Inadequate brushing and flossing. Here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. For faster result you can go for teeth bleaching from dentist.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Healthy Gums

You can exercise for healthier gums as well. Gently bite down so as to make sure that your teeth make a clinking sound when they meet. Repeat this 30 to 40 times continuously. This exercise will stimulate the flow of blood and will keep your gums healthy.

I have spot on my teeth it is not going so I think for scaling is it any harmful effect or side effect please help me.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I have spot on my teeth it is not going so I think for scaling is it any harmful effect or side effect please help me.
Scaling does not cause harm. It has transformed the teeth of many people who were in need of it and their teeth and gums became much healthier as all the accumulated dirt was removed which cannot be done by just brushing. So if the spot on your teeth can be removed by scaling and if the dentist you visit suggests that you need it you can go for it without any fear. If your teeth have deposits it will definitely make them better and healthier. If you also maintain oral hygiene well after a scaling its effects will be much better.

•If your cavity in the tooth is caused by decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection.

Kindly get scaling done and use mouthwash twice daily for 15 days. Also notice that you are not constipated most of the times as this is also one of the reasons for bad breath. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique.
