From 1 month I feel that I loose my some memory. For example before 10 minutes I put my pen in my bag but after some time I forgot that. It's only one example. My one sided hair also become white. All time I feel moodless. Not feeling freshness.

Don't take stress from anything if we will think again and again on same topic such as you are thinking that you are forgetting the things then you will forget the things .the more you will think the more you will feel problem.don't think on any unusual topic, try to be in present ,for some time forget your past and future ,only concentrate on present .now a days everyone is having so much pressure from child to old man ,so it happens with every one .don't worry. what you need is little approach in uour lifestyle. take care.

I am studying in 12th STD I have to study a lots of questions but it is very hard to remember so please suggest some health food for my problems.

B.A. Psychology, M.A. Psychology, Ph. D - Psychology
Psychologist, Delhi
No food can help you remember answers. Food can nourish your body and mind to concentrate better but remembering things for long requires better understanding of the concepts. Cramming and mugging up without understanding will never help. Take up one topic at a time, understand the concept well, try to answer questions related to that topic on your own, if you are able to answer what that concept is all about, why, when, how it happens - that means you have understood the topic, write answers to those questions and practise. Then move on to the next topic.

Hello sir, I am 22 years 8 months old. I am having a problem with my confidence. I feel like i'm very afraid to do something even though tasks are very silly. I try to convince myself a lot like there is nothing fearful in whatever I want to do. But I am not able to convince myself. Examples: 1) I shiver a lot in the interviews even though i'm quite good at speaking. I'm sure I can communicate well. I tried to convince myself a lot but still problem persist. 2) my Girl Friend is avoiding me (It hurts me a lot). And just wanted to know the reason why she had done this to me. I want convince her but I couldn't convince myself to start the conversation. One day I forcefully tried but brain stopped working. Couldn't get right words out of my mouth. Please advise me something. Because of this I couldn't achieve anything great in my life. I feel very low and weak whenever something is bothering me. I read inspiration books and all the motivational stuff a lot. I try to fool my mind nothing worked. Its not like I fail in every situation. Whenever I find something troublesome in my thoughts I just could not overwrite it to be brave or to act like brave. Thank you for letting me share my problem at least.

Hello sir, I am 22 years 8 months old. I am having a problem with my confidence. I feel like i'm very afraid to do so...
I can see a lot of initiatives in your behaviours, which I could rarely see in many individuals of your age group. But, the problem is, may be, due to performance anxiety which hinders your performance and thereby reducing your confidence level. Let me give you a suggestions to overcone your problem. 1. First thing is, you have to understand and accept the fact that everybody at your age has to go through such kind of anxieties in their life. Even officers holding higher ranks experience the same anxiety reactions when facing their superiors for further advancement. The fact is, you are exaggerating the shortcomings. 2. Learn and practice some yoga techniques like asanas, pranayama and meditation from a qualified teacher. This will help you manage your physical arousal due to anxiety such, as rapid heart beat and pulse rate, increased breathing pattern racing of thought etc. To a desirable extent and therby help you remain calm in such situations. 3. Set smaller goals you are trying to achieve, and mentally rehearse a particular activity again and again, for ex. Your interview situation. Also practice mock interviews with the help of your friends/parents or even your teachers. This will help you to face the actual situation in a relaxed manner to a great extent. 4. If you achieve and reach a good position in your career life, your girl friend will automatically fall in line with you (because of your higher confidence level and her increased confidence level too on you). Until then, do not bother about her. All the best.

I can't store any in my memory cause of study depression and not concentrate properly in my books.

Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.

You need behaviour therapy. There is need of change your behaviour. Better to consult psychologist in bangalore. You have to change your behaviour. Anger management techniques are helpful when anger comes divert it towards other aspects. Take anything or talk to your friends. Change the place or move from the place. Walk when you feel anger. I am a 32 years old man suffering from anxiety and panic, will become nervous on little things. How to over come this?
Glook at your thoughts as just thoughts. Don't give them importance and meaning when you are feeling anxiety and panic. There isn't as much danger in situations as you have predicted. Do have a realistic view of the situation. Also don't underestimate your capabilities to solve any problems or protect yourself when the time comes. Assess your environment and see what and who can help you when you need help. With this assessment you will feel more in control of yourself and the situation. Your anxiety n panic will be reduced. Besides the above do physical exercise and deep breathing exercises everyday.

Sir I have Depression problem. What Can I do to overcome from it. Please help me.
You must meet with a counselor first and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor too. Please do so immediately. You must investigate if the origin of this problem is from childhood or of recent origins. If it is recent, you will be able to pin-point the episode. If not, talk to your parents and see if they remember any incidents from your childhood, even in prenatal life, of any contributing factors. The counselor will be able to help out with this information. You can follow these simple rules too: Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don?t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love: find someone to love and to love you back. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive everyday and learn to be contended with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly.

I am 30 years old and my wife is 26 years. We got married in 2012, February and its been 4.5 years around we are trying for a baby but unfortunately not successful. We went to gynecologist and they referred us for some tests and after the results we got there are some small issues with me and very small issues with my wife like hyperthyroid which were told to us that it is not so much tensions type of things and we can try till last. I am worrying about one issue like people says that time is very precious and after that nothing can be done. I am taking very tensions for small small things and trying to become cool and calm but it is again not done. Even we both are having some words disputes in which I always harsh on her and for which I think it should not be done as I found to be guilty. When we sometime have a mood to do for a baby we need something to help like laptop/movie to have some mood to reach out there to do. I hope you understand. Also we can not do for long last and complete withing 10 minutes. I am taking some medicines also of himalaya like Gokshura/seacod/ and one more virkshmala. Hi lybrate-user, first of all, de stress yourself, this is a part and phase of life not your whole life, do not let it define you. The stress you are taking will take toll on your body and it is because of this reason that you are not excited enough when its time to get intimate. Don't think about baby while having sex, think of it as something that gives you pleasure focus on your partner. Do not smoke, drink, have dark chocolates and fresh fruits, more garlic and dates. Do kegels exercise for sustained erection. You need some therapy for your stress too. Consult a psychologist. You can consult me for same. All the best.
