Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs . Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

Hi I had a baby in nov 2014 by c section. And from last 2 months having severe knee pain and back ache when I get up in the morning. I feel really week and tired all the time.

Hello . Congratulation to be blessed with baby. Don't worry. Its very common after delivery. Just get your routine checkups done. And pls don't take too much medicines for the same. It may harm your baby. Use topical medicines only if possible. Like oxalgin gel.

Sir I am 61 yrs. Recently a month back fell down enroute fetching milk. I fell on my left shoulder and the entire body weight fell on my left shoulder. I consulted physios and not underwent therapy for 10 days, but my pain has not reduced and I cannot move my left shoulder freely. Please advise.

Hello sir, this is Dr. Hitin mathur from new delhi, welcome to lybrate. With regards to your shoulder, did you get an x ray done, if not get an x ray shoulder ap and a axial views. You may have a fracture. If there is no fracture and you still can't actively lift the arm, then there may be torn rotator cuff muscles. An mri of the shoulder will help in finding that out. Revert back with the investigations.

As you feel pain in knees, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knees regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamind. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 tab yograj guggul after lunch and dinner. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Take 7 hours sleep minimum. Do pranayama early morning.
