Dear , I think you are worried unnecessarily. For a young and healthy adult it is quite common to have this. You are producing enough and utilising and then even mild straining at the end of urination full periurethral gland and even seminal vesicles will overflow. So do not worry and enjoy life. Dr. Kiran Mehta.

Dear , You have not mentioned your semen count. If all three parameters like sperm count, quantity of semen and motility of sperm are reduced then you need to undergo surgery. If there are pus cells in semen then you need to take antibiotics for 4-6 weeks. Irf testes are small and soft o0r atrophic then you need to have hormonal profile like FSH, LH. S. Testosterone or DHEA and USG for testes and scrotum. Further prognosis can be given after the results of these tests. Dr. Kiran Mehta.

Sir, according to symptoms, it is highly suggestive that you might be suffering from urinary tract infection. Drink plenty of fluids and fruit juice at home which helps clearing away bacteria from your tract.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Follow the given medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic causticum 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic conium mac 30 before going to bath daily. 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic baryta carb 30 just one hour before dinner daily. 4) homoeopathic mother tincture sabal serrulata q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Along with the aforesaid medication few changes your lifestyle are also necessary. Lifestyle alterations to address the symptoms include decreasing fluid intake before bedtime, moderating the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products, and following a timed voiding schedule. Also it would be better if you could void the urine in sitting position.

My father 75 yrs old diagnosed prostate enlargement now he is using urine bag. Scan report shows grade III, PSA value 85. After 3 weeks medication antibiotic PSA value 75. Any possibility without surgery to recover. Any other medication can cure?

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, MRCS (Edinburgh), Fellowship In Breast Surgery, Fellowship In Onco-plastic Breast Surgery

sorry to hear about your dad's problem. Psa of 75 is extremely high and it warrants further tests to rule out cancer. Normal range of psa is between 0-5 and in infections & bph, it can reach uptil 11. He should undergo a trans rectal ultrasound (trus) along with a biopsy.

I have been diagnosed now with grade 1 fatty liver and small 4mm calculus in left kidney. 2 years ago it was mild fatty lever. For the past 3 years the stone size is constant. What are the natural ways to cure this? What are the diet restrictions? Am I going to die?

About 80% of all kidney stones are composed of calcium and other minerals, usually a combination of calcium and oxalate. In some cases dietary adjustments help to prevent the recurrence of these types of stones. Increase fluid intake: This is the most important preventive measure for all patients who develop kidney stones. It hinders the formation of stones by diluting the urine. The biggest portion of calcium in the diet comes from milk and foods made from large amounts of milk, such as cheeses and yogurt, dark greeny vegetables. Too much may cause calcium stones. Sugar, sodium, and animal protein: It has been found that too much of these may also aggravate the development of calcium or calcium oxalate stones. A diet high in animal protein affects certain minerals in the urine that may promote the formation of kidney stones. Insoluble fiber also speeds up movement of substances through the intestine, so there will be less time for calcium to be absorbed. When vitamin C is used by the body, oxalate is produced. Fatty liver may cause enlargement of the liver, also result in symptoms such as fever, confusion and jaundice, or yellowing of the skin. Adopt a diet consisting of about 75 percent organic raw fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. Adopt a diet consisting of about 75 percent organic raw fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. Prescription for Nutritional Healing, raw, organic plant foods introduce fewer toxins into the body than cooked foods. This may reduce the workload on the liver, allowing it to clear out fatty deposits and regenerate healthy cells. Add turmeric to soups, curries. Turmeric, this spice contains a chemical, called curcumin, that may help protect the liver against damage caused by accumulated fats. It may also aid in the regeneration of liver cells and the removal of fats. The Healing Herbs, anise seeds may stimulate the regeneration of healthy liver cells, allowing the liver to flush out excess fats. Add beans and legumes, such as chickpeas, kidney beans, soybeans and peas, to your diet. These foods contain arginine, an amino acid that helps neutralize ammonia, which is a toxic byproduct created by the body during the digestion process. Detoxification of ammonia may reduce stress on the liver. Proper hydration may help cleanse the liver of fats and toxins.

#worldkidneyday

" The theme of world kidney day 2017 is “kidney disease and obesity. Healthy lifestyle for healthy kidneys”"

Quick kidney facts
On occassion of world kidney day 9th march 2017. Here are a few interesting facts about kidney.

They're not just your body's cleanup crew. Without them we’d be swimming in our own waste.
We’re born with a pair, yet we can manage with just one. That’s why you can donate a kidney and remain alive and well.

1. The kidneys have a higher blood flow than even the brain, liver or heart.
2. The kidneys reabsorb and redistribute 99% of the blood volume and only 0.1% of the blood filtered becomes urine.
3. Healthy kidneys work 24hrs a day/7 days a week to clean the blood.
4. Kidneys will continue performing until they have lost 75-80% of their function.
5. Kidneys represent only 0.5% of total body’s weight
6. The kidneys of a newborn baby are about 3x larger in proportion to body weight as in the adult.
7. Kidney stones are an accumulation of mineral salts and mostly combined with calcium which can lodge anywhere along the course of the urinary tract.
8. Refined carbohydrates and sugar will stimulate the pancreas to release insulin. This causes extra calcium to be excreted in the urine. Alas, kidney stones.
9. Kidney beans (rajma), true to their name are kidney shaped. They provide nutrients that are helpful to the human kidneys.
10. Each kidney contains 1 million individual filters. They filter an average of around 1.3 liters (2.2 pints) of blood per minute, and expel up to 1.4 liters (2.5 pints) a day of urine.

Take good care of such a vital organ.
