Yes, you are right, for cavity you will have to undergo rct--------- take following precautions for your teeth------------------ 1. Drinks: coffee and red wine cause major damage to teeth. But other drinks with high acidity, such as soda, juices and even sports drinks can cause damage staining on the teeth because of its tannins and acidic nature wear away at the tooth enamel. These acidic drinks lowers the ph of teeth below 6 thus causing corrosive wear and tear of teeths. 2. Certain foods: all sweets, candies, popscicles, damage teeth due to its high sugar content. So avoid them as much as you can and if you eat do not forget to rinse your mouth with water immediately after finishing it--------------------------------------- 3. Every time you take meals or eat something make sure to rinse your mouth with water and with homoeopathic rinseout gargles (sbl) after every meals---------------------------------- 4. Use any brand paste for brushing teeth in morning but never forget to scrub teeth with hekla lavatooth powder (wheezal) at night just before sleep.------------------------------------- 5. If possible start a habit of chewing neem stick (datuun) in the morning as it not anly scrubs our teeth but its juice acts as a good antiseptic and antibiotic to destroy the harmful bacterias stuck in out teeth cavities and inbetween teeth.

This may be a case of rct failure due to imoroper sealing of canal or due to unobturated canal. Visit your dentist and get radiograph done. If required go for rerct.

Please visit a dentist because with proper oral and radiographic findings we can determine whether the sensitivity is caused by carious tooth or not. If there is no dental decay found you can use any of the desensitizing toothpaste available in the market.

It won't be cured by medicine. Visit your dentist, I think you have pulpitis which needs to be treated by rct (root canal treatment) and it's cause is mainly infection in your tooth.

Don't go for tooth removal as the tooth can be saved by root canal treatment. Remember no other artificial tooth can replace a natural tooth.

Hi, there are various reasons of bad breath, like impurities in blood, inefficient digestive system, dry mouth (lack of saliva production), gum disease, cavities, plaque and tartar formation around teeth and gums, kind of diet, improper brushing / cleaning of mouth etc. I would advise you to get a thorough physical and dental examination to rule out the cause of bad breath and to solve it permanently. Regards

hello if you are using power form or ayurvedic to clean your teeth. your teeth become more yellowish with time because powder is more abrasive it will wear outermost layer of tooth enamel. and tooth become more yellowish due to exposure of inner layer dentin which is more yellowish. So avoid vigorous brushing. bleaching can be done. Which can improve your tooth shade

Here are some tips to help you look after your teeth.

1. Brush at least twice a day.
The best time to brush teeth is after meals. Choose a toothbrush with a small head for better access to back teeth. Soft bristles are kinder on your gums.

2. Use fluoridated toothpaste.
Fluoride helps to harden tooth enamel and reduces your risk of decay.

3. Brush thoroughly.
Tooth brushing should take between two and three minutes.

4. Floss your teeth daily.
Use a slow and gentle sawing motion.

5. Limit acidic drinks like soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices.
Food acids soften tooth material and dissolve the minerals in tooth enamel, causing holes (cavities or caries). In severe cases, teeth may be ‘eaten’ right down to the gum.

6. Limit sugary foods.
Bacteria in dental plaque change sugars into acids.

7. Protect your teeth from injury.
Wear a mouth guard or full-face helmet when playing sports.

8. Try to save a knocked out tooth.
If possible, hold the tooth back in place while you seek immediate dental advice. If this is not possible, wrap the tooth in plastic or place it in milk and seek dental advice immediately.

9. Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food.
If you use them to crack nuts, remove bottle tops or rip open packaging, you risk chipping or even breaking your teeth.

10. See your dentist for regular check-ups.
You should also visit your dentist if you have a dental problem such as a toothache or bleeding gums.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Dental Care Post Dental Implants

In a dental implant procedure, frames or metal posts are placed beneath the gums so as to enable a dentist to mount artificial teeth onto them. Post the procedure, you have to be careful about a few things.

Here's what all you need to take care of:

1. Careful brushing: Only soft bristle brush needs to be used in this regard and do not pressurize the treated areas. In this case, tenderness needs to be considered so that brushing can be conducted carefully without injuring or hurting implants.

2. Maintaining oral hygiene: Oral hygiene is the most important thing, and this is the reason you are advised to use any special mouthwash or any other flossing solution. This step needs to be continued for preventing the growth of unwanted infectious elements as that can ruin the implants completely. You should also carefully brush your teeth without affecting the implanted area.

3. Apply ice pack: If you want to get rid of unwanted swelling and inflammation, immediately after dental implants, then nothing can be the best than homemade therapy, other than using ice packs. You should keep the ice packs just over the swollen art directly, and you can even try out this therapy multiple times in a day and will get relief instantly.

4. Avoid smoking: You are not allowed to continue smoking after implants, as that can make the situation complicated, as a result, of which you might even experience dreadful consequences. You should follow different steps to completely curtail the smoking habit from your lifestyle.

5. Scheduling appointments: You should meet your dentist on a frequent basis in order to make sure that everything is perfect. You can also visit your dentist in times of emergencies when you are facing tremendous pain or bleeding.

You shld rush down to dentist and get it fixed. If it is just a part of the tooth you just have to get simple procedure called tooth bonding. If it has reached till nerves then you mite required root canal treatment. Dentist may take xray for further diagnosis.

Going by your discription I think you are talking about upper jaw gums. If yes, then there is a procedure called depigmentation of gums. That black colour is usually due melanin which is responsible for skin colour. Check on internet or consult me or see your doc. Will be happy to help u.
