Hi. I had an injury in my knee. After going through MRI test we come to know that my right leg complete ligament (ACL) got teared. Is that fine if i leave it as it is without surgery. As my orthopedic doctor suggest surgery for reconstruction of ligament.

Answer to this question will depend on your clinical signs and symptoms, your examination, your age, status of your knee. You need proper discussion with expert who deals only in ligament injuries not just orthopedic surgeon. Dr Prashant Parate.

Sir/madam I have severe lower back pain, from 3 years, last 6 months it is severe, I never go to any hospital because...
1st MRI to know the all about the effects. Is there need of only mind management or help of sessions on body with powerful combination of techniques like craniosacral balancing n quantum touch which work both on physical and mental levels by balancing 3rd rhythm, autonomic nervous system, musculoskeletal system of body by releasing suppressed emotions &pains etc. Explanation -- It is a fact that all the effects/ backache in your case on body are due to stress/ tension may be known to you or unknown related to family, professional, student, non achievements etc in any field of life. We know that when we are totally, really happy i.e internally and externally remain always happy there can't be any disease that is why the disease once starts not cured with medicine because the reason for the origin of stress remains there & stress goes on increasing & also changes effects in one form or the other. So there is need of mind management a type of counselling -(After a research on lacking facts why in spite of so much knowledge on mind disease & stress is theres) why tension/stress in your particular case has effects in the form of backache and how to get rid of it. So there is a need 1 to 2 hr discussion why these occur in this form & no reoccuence in future. Ione session of 30 min. All treatment is available online. Rest of the details about services for incurable diseases & for mind problems, super mind are also there on website / Lybrate profile/personal statement column.

Hello, start stretching your sole and calf muscles before you get up after prolonged sitting or early morning after your sleep. You've to take an x-ray of your foot. If you're diagnosed plantar fascitis or spur then you've to take treatment for the same with the Physiotherapist. And if you're obese try to reduce weight. Hi lybrate-user, Using natural treatments for joint pain and stiffness can make a big difference in the amount of medication you need to take. We’ve outlined some great herbal remedies to relieve stiffness and pain. 1. Cayenne - Known for its spicy-hot taste, cayenne makes an excellent topical ointment that relieves joint pain. Rubbing cayenne on the affected area causes a mild irritation, which in turn “distracts” the nerves from the more severe joint pain. Repeated topical applications of cayenne pepper can reduce arthritis pain significantly. To make a topical paste, mix 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper with 1/2 cup of cocoa butter, lanolin, or coconut oil. Apply it directly to the sore joint. You can also mix 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and soak sore hands or feet for 20 minutes to reduce pain and inflammation. 2. Fruit Pectin & Grape Juice - The combination of pectin, which is found in the cells of many plants, and grape juice can be of great use to people suffering from inflammation and joint pain. Grape juice is loaded with antioxidants, among them, anthocyanins, which are noted for their effect on reducing inflammation. Pectin is also believed to relieve fluid buildup in the joints of arthritis sufferers. It’s best to purchase pectin from a health or natural foods store for the best quality. You want to make sure to select pectin that is free of MSG and other additives. Mix 1/2 cup of grape juice with 2 tablespoons pectin. You can add water, if needed. Drink it twice daily for 6 weeks, and then reduce the frequency as symptoms disappear. 3. Flaxseed: Omega-3s are important for a strong immune system, but did you know they also help fight inflammation? Flaxseed is one of the best vegan sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, which makes it even more important for arthritis sufferers. Animal fats can often lead to more inflammation, so making the choice to incorporate flaxseed into your diet will help you get the important Omega-3s without adding the animal fat. Try to include two tablespoons of flaxseeds or flaxseed oil in your daily diet. You can add ground flax to cereals, yogurt, and even sauces and stews. 4. Exercise: Light weight training and cardiovascular exercise are very important to relieve joint stiffness and pain. While the first thing you may want to do is curl up and lay down when joint pain strikes, it’s a great idea to get up and get moving. I find that a hot shower and some gentle exericise like yoga, Pilates, or light weight training really helps get your joints in motion and reduces the stiffness and pain. Light weight training can also strength the muscles surrounding your affected joint, thus providing it with more support. Another great form of exercise to get relieve joint pain and stiffness is aquatic exercise. This non-impact workout allows you to slowly moving your joins through their range of motion. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

If more than 3 jts are involved then it's polyarthritis. Start hot saline fomentation followed by volini gel and strengthening exercises of all painful parts of body. Continue medicines as advised by doctor. Double stem cell sachets gives best results. For more details about exercises please refer my health tips or chat me on Private consultation.
