I have pain in my joints, whenever I do stretching exercise. After doing stretching exercise the pain remains for few days & if I do not do any stretching exercise then the pani vanishes. Please let me know, if this pain is because of muscle pain or something else.

Please let me know whether the stretching exercises done you is under supervision of a physical therapist or on your own? also please get you serum vitamin d levels and serum potassium levels done as any deficiency may be a cause of pain but since your pain becomes ok after some time I feel gradual built up of muscles with daily short increments will be useful. Ankle stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Physical activity is essential for people with osteoarthritis Exercise programs should include both aerobic exercise—like walking, swimming, or biking—and strengthening exercises, such as isometric and isotonic exercises. Please see a Physiotherapist who can help you work out a program suitable for you. You could try a warm bath, or place a heat pack or hot water bottle over the painful area for 15 minutes. Cold numbs the painful area and reduces swelling. Applying cold treatments, such as ice packs, to the painful area for 15 minutes may be especially useful for hot, swollen joints, such as during a'flare' You can repeat heat or cold treatments throughout the day. Make sure the temperature of your skin has returned to normal before re-applying, to prevent any tissue damage.

If you attempt to run longer or harder than you have in the past without gradually increasing your running sessions, you can overwork the tendons and muscles in your legs and knees. This pain usually occurs in the iliotibial band that runs down the side of your leg and into your knee bones. Lacking strength in your thigh muscles and using unsupportive shoes can also cause knee pain. Without these two components, unnecessary stress can build on your knees and cause your cartilage to wear out. So I suggest you before running you must warm up your body. And use warming up exercises. And use rest ice compression and elevation method. If pain severe then use stretching exercises with medicine rise on syrup and twin stem sachet with polytos caps. You feel better in few days.

Heel pain is a very common foot problem. Try few home remedies for heel pain rest - avoid running or standing for long periods, or walking on hard surfaces. Avoid activities that may stress the heels. Ice - place an ice-pack on the affected area for about 15 minutes. Do not place bare ice directly onto skin. Footwear - proper-fitting shoes that provide good support are crucial. Athletes should be particularly fussy about the shoes they use when practicing or competing - sports shoes need to be replaced at specific intervals (ask your trainer). Foot supports - wedges and heel cups can help relieve symptoms. If these doesn't help please see a physiotherapist who can teach you exercises which stretch the plantar fascia and achilles tendon, as well as strengthening the lower leg muscles, resulting in better stabilization of the ankle and heel. You may also be taught how to apply athletic taping, which gives the bottom of the foot better support. Prevention of heel pain involves reducing the stress on that part of the body. Tips include: barefeet - when on hard ground make sure you are wearing shoes. Bodyweight - if you are overweight there is more stress on the heels when you walk or run. Try to lose weight. Footwear - footwear that has material which can absorb some of the stress placed on the heel may help protect it. Examples include heel pads. Make sure your shoes fit properly and do not have worn down heels or soles. If you notice a link between a particular pair of shoes and heel pain, stop wearing them. Rest - if you are especially susceptible to heel pain, try to spend more time resting and less time on your feet. It is best to discuss this point with a specialized health care professional. Sports - warm up properly before engaging in activities that may place lots of stress on the heels. Make sure you have proper sports shoes for your task. Best wishes.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

I am feeling pain in my left knee from last 2 year. In ex-ray did not find anything. It pain when my leg turn like at the time of toilet. So can tell me what is exact problem in my leg or give suggesion for exercise

In x-ray details may not be visible, do not bother as your age is supportive in treatment 1- soak the absorbent cotton pad in maha vishgarbha tail and put these soaked pads and apply bandage or put kneecap (should not tight- purchase bit loose to accommodate pads) keep for 3-4 hours. 2- tablet sallaki 500 mg twice daily with no. 3 medicine 3- maharasnadi please kwath 15 ml with water twice after food 4- dashanga lepa take 10 gm mix in hot water and apply over knee joint at night- continue for three months please and report
