High LDL high cholesterol put you on a higher risk of atherosclerotic diseases and heart attacks especially if you have other is factors including hypertension diabetes or a history of smoking so I would advise you to start taking statins which are cholesterol medications the doors of which depends upon your cholesterol levels also you need to start changing your dietary habits and include a regular physical exercise at least 45 minutes a day 5 days a week into your schedule nonetheless you have to stop taking fatty and junk food good luck.

Dear Lybrateuser, -A mobile phone can cause electromagnetic interference with a pacemaker, if this happens then it can interfere with the pacemaker by stopping it from delivering the stimulating pulsesthat regulate the hearts rhythm -causing the pacemaker to deliver the pulses irregularly -use some precautions like hold the phone to the ear opposite to the side of body where the pacemaker is implanted, avoid placing the turned on phone next to the pacemaker implant, don't carry it in a pocket over the place where pacemaker is implanted -try to keep it away from the body & use it only when necessary.

Hello Considering you had minor heart attack around 2 years back, you should avoid it. If you still want to climb stairs then you should climb them slowly and stopping regularly in between. Your cardiologist may prescribe nitrates medicines which will be helpful before climbing. You are advised to consult him.

Mr. Lybrate-user, the blood sugar levels mentioned by you look quite ok. It also important to look at hba1c%, if that is<7%, then one can say diabetes is in good control. If you maintai sugar levels at the present level then it will in preventing or postponing the long term complications of diabetes. You have also not mentioned about the drugs being taken and their dosage. As regards the hypertension, it is not in control, which is clear with the readings which you have mentioned. To give any suggestion I need to know your current treatment with dosage. Another important aspect is that you have a bmi of 27.57 kg/m2, which means over weight, it also is a major contributor for high bp and sugar levels. If you are looking for any specific guidance, it will be better if you come with details like present fasting and pp levels, hba1c%, bp readings and drugs with dosage and diet and exercise pattern. Then I will be able to guide.
