If in doubt check urine pregnancy test now if it is negative its die to the medicine you took. Nothing to worry about wait for next menses if its normal then its fine but yes don't repeat unwanted 72 so frequently. Use proper contraception.

A common type of STD that presents as small bumps and is sometimes mistaken for pimples is genital herpes. Herpes lesions can appear on the shaft of the penis as round blisters with clear fluid that sit on top of a red base. When the blisters break, they usually cause quite painful sores or have a burning sensation.

Doctor, I either have delayed periods or prolonged periods. I have PCOD. Is that causing this irregularity? Please help and suggest something to recover from it.

Yes, PCOD is causing delayed periods. You try life style modification- weight loss by diet and exercise. And also, some basic workup to detect what type of drug treatment will suit you the most.

Hi i-pill is meant for emergency contraception. It should not be used as a regular contraceptive method. Once a month- a big no no. It should be used only in emergency when the other method is likely to fail.

Weight reduction is first step in pcod, then regulate the menses and treat the other symptoms of pcos, proper investigations must. Ayurveda gives better result in such cases. Sometimes combine treatment also fruitful.

This is the time when every woman goes through a change, due to decline in hormones and periods gradually stop, risk of heart attack is more, bones start getting hollow due to depletion of calcium, eyes weak, some amount of mental changes like depression, gain in weight. Get an ultrasound abdomen done, basic tests for heart like ecg, halter test and blood test for sugar, lipid profile done. Let her work like a normal woman but no sleeping tabs, if she is going for walks, doing yoga, taking a healthy diet, her weight will not increase and she will sleep well. Do write back the details of gyne problems if any!

I'm not getting sleep for more than 38 days ,what shall I do .I had delivered six month old baby due to microcephaly. They used mtp for inducing delivery .may be this will be the reason for small cyst in my right ovary after a month of delivery.

I'm not getting sleep for more than 38 days ,what shall I do .I had delivered six month old baby due to microcephaly....
Obviously you are under stress after the mtp. You can meet a doctor for treatment of anxiety. There are many safe medicines to cure you present mental condition. Also, microcephaly does not happen everytime. Go for torch test to see if there is any infection which you can get treated for. Alcohol and drugs are not to be consumed. Along with dengue, mosquito bite can cause zika virus infection, which is mild, but during pregnancy it is being suspected as cause of microcephaly. Be aware of such issues before you try for pregnancy again. There is good hope, so you can look forward to the future. Sleep will come automatically.

Sir, I want to know what are the merits and demerits of sex before marriage. Please inform me.

Sexologist, Jodhpur
There are no merits or demerit. Sex is a physical need and it is individual decision when and how to fullfill it.

I am 21 years old. My breasts are becoming deflated due to huge weight loss. Can gaining weight fix the problem. I gained 5 kgs but there seem no fullness in upper pole. I am healthy .Please provide some help.

M.Ch - Surgical Oncology, MS - General Surgery, MBBS

Gaining weight may help. If it does not, you may need to see a cosmetic surgeon who may be able to do augmentation procedure to enhance your features as desired.

I am 38 years old unmarried virgin woman. I had recently been diagnosed with cervical polyp. When I checked on Internet, it was mentioned it mostly happens in case of pregnant women or old woman. I would like to know what could be the cause of this problem in my case and what is the treatment for this.

I am 38 years old unmarried virgin woman. I had recently been diagnosed with cervical polyp. When I checked on Intern...
A cervical polyp is a common benign polyp or tumour on the surface of the cervical canal. They can cause irregular menstrual bleeding but often show no symptoms. Treatment consists of simple removal of the polyp and prognosis is generally good. The cause of cervical polyps is not clearly understood. They might develop from an infection, chronic (long-term) inflammation, or an obstruction or any alteration in blood vessels in the cervical canal. However, large or multiple polyps can sometimes cause problems with fertility or result in recurrent miscarriage. Both polyps and fibroids in the uterine cavity can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding and occasionally cramping. These polyps and fibroids are almost always benign but they may need to be removed to render implantation. The risk of bleeding, infection or injury to the uterus is extremely rare. However, it is the submucosal myoma, inside the uterine cavity, that produces an IUD-like effect of irritating the uterine lining which can prevent implantation. Endometrial polyps (endometrial tissue protruding into the uterine cavity) may have a similar effect.
