Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Papayas, mangoes yellow fruits nuts butter. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. Also try to blink your eyes properly while work. Use good tear substitutes like genteal 4 times a day. And anti glare screen for your system. You can go for lasik surgery depending upon the type severity and stability of refractive error, and condition of the cornea. Till then you must not undergo lasik. You can also go for soft contact lenses. Use eyedrops genteal 3 times a nd zoneph 4 times a day.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. This is a very serious condition but can be treated with both counseling and medication. The therapy will need to be very intense and long term. The medical consultation may be intermittent but the one-to-one counseling will be very demanding on both the professional and the counselee and must be pursued until the end. Apart from this there has to be adequate family investment of time, patience, money, and energy; and all of this must be done with utmost love. The MPD identifies with several personalities, and each one not much aware of the other. There is however one over-ruling personality and if that is brought into focus and if that personality can trust or develop the trust with the therapist your cousin can work out a way of accepting and working with the other personalities for favorable outcomes. Believe me though this is really quite tedious and sapping. Both the family and the therapist must be quite dedicated till the end. There may be a lot of relapses but that is to be expected but no one is to give up because every inch of progress has to be somehow retained and preserved like gold. If there is any doubt regarding the family?s commitment, then you may have to put her in a rehabilitation center that has experience working with MPDs.

He's been going to the gym for the past few months and is also taking supplements for weight loss. He smokes everyday and also drinks but that is not that often. He has been telling me that he's not able to breathe during the night time and he also has stomach pain while sleeping. He coughs rarely.

These supplements for weight loss might be having some ingredients which are causing pain in his stomach try to check it by stopping the supplements for a couple of days but if pain persists then you should get investigated for that smoking can cause breathing problems he will have to stop smoking to get rid of it in the meantime take steam inhalation regularly twice a day everyday to clear his air passage.

Dear lybrate user, you should take the following medications as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic sulphur 200 once in a week. 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic aesculus hip 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic podophyllum 30 before going to bath daily. 4) 5 drops of homoeopathic hamamelis 30, just one hour before dinner daily. If you experience bleeding during stool then you need to carry on the following home-therapy:- i) pour about 50 ml of liquid betadine in a tub of lukewarm water & stir it until it is mixed. Ii) sit inside that tub of lukewarm water in a squatting position so that the betadine mixed water can come in contact with the point of bleeding. Iii) maintain this position for at least 30 minutes daily. Follow the aforesaid rules & continue the aforesaid medication for one month. If you do not feel any relief after one month of medication then you should consult me privately via lybrate.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. Requires detailed investigation and examination hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I am a diabetic since last 12 yrs. I take 1 mg glimpride 1bd 500 my metformin 1bd. With this medication my sugar levels are under much control. I do meditation and eat simple food with lots of veggies and fruits. My major problem is with fasting blood sugar level which is mostly between 140-150. This really causes lots of tension.

There is no reason to be tense continue glimipride and take metformin 1000 mg at dinner and 500 mg at breakfast repeat sugar after 7-10 day for further you can consult privately after 10 days with F and PP report.

I have hypothyroid and taking 50 mg thyroxine everyday from past 4 months and I am not eating foods spinach, cabbage, broccoli, peanuts, mustard, soy products, cauliflower. Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit and in my opinion you can eat spinach.

Pulse rate & blood pressure are independent. If the pulse increase, it does not mean that your blood pressure increased. Blood pressure is the pressure of blood on vessels wall & pulse is the number of times the heart beats.
