Hello lybrate-user, it seems your are doing a lot of work. Working time also is more. Seems like you don't get much time for your self. Work load seems to be more than you can handle. Coming back to anger management. People don't know what you are going through. And it's not their fault that you are working so much. You have to take care of your self and your health. Anger mostly arises from some deficiency of and not others. You have to learn to handle stuff and people. Regarding your bp you should definitely visit a doctor and get it checked. The body has the tendency to adjust to your stress. But if your stress level increase to such a level that the body cannot adjust anymore more and starts giving signals in the from of bp, diabetes, headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, stiffness etc. That the time one should understand that it's time to change our lifestyle and eventually our thoughts. Tc.

Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance... if you keep in touch personally.

Good to know that your kidneys are normal in size and shape & ecg report is also normal. Remember, there is a difference between picture of an organ and its functioning, kidneys'appear' to be normal but are not functioning properly as blood urea & creatinine are very high. Kidneys are like a filter of body that retains the useful products like proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins & minerals. Urea and creatinine are by products of metabolism and are excreted in some amounts, but if filter called kidneys, start to fail, the levels of urea and creatinine start rising in blood and this is an indication of kidney failure. You may need blood dialysis/ abdominal dialysis depending upon various factors, as decided by your treating doctor, so that chronic kidney disease does not become worse. Do consult a renal specialist without delay & remember ckd (chronic kidney disease) can have an effect on an otherwise healthy heart.

Iam 25 years old. What is essential hypertension and it's causes and effects and it's range.
Hi, essential hypertension (also called primary hypertension or idiopathic hypertension) is the form of hypertension that by definition has no identifiable cause. It is the most common type of hypertension, affecting 95% of hypertensive patients, it tends to be familial and is likely to be the consequence of an interaction between environmental and genetic factors. Prevalence of essential hypertension increases with age, and individuals with relatively high blood pressure at younger ages are at increased risk for the subsequent development of hypertension. Hypertension can increase the risk of cerebral, cardiac, and renal events. High blood pressure has many risk factors, including: age race family history being overweight or obese not being physically active using tobacco use of too much of salt in o little potassium in diet too little vitamin d drinking too much alcohol stress certain chronic conditions also may increase your risk of high blood pressure, such as kidney disease, diabetes and sleep apnea. Eecp is very good therapy, but d problem is it's very long term. You have to go to centre for 40 days/ 1 hr each day. Plus you have to get it done every year depending upon your lifestyle, eat habits n your cardiac test reports. If you want to avoid bypass best would be eecp + medical therapy + lifestyle change.

Gerd is gastroesophagial reflux disease. Reflux is due to abnormality in antireflux mechanism either due to functional or structural problems. Structural problems like large hiatal hernia needs to be corrected doing surgery otherwise it recurs. Reflux for long is bad for health as it can give rise to serious health issues in future if neglected for long. Avoid chocolates/ tea/ coffee/ ice-creams/ overeating at night. Dinner should be light and early. Go to sleep after 2 hours of taking dinner. Lie on your left side as it prevents refluxes. Place 2 pillows beneath your head at night. Avoid late night sleep. Consult a specialist for antireflux medications.
