How to solve a problem of a person who is having sugar disease. and heart problem. What are the best medicine.
diabetes one has to take anti diabetic drugs or insulin injections as advised, and also observe dietary restrictions, exercise daily for more than 1 h and avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk food and pastries. Plus maintain weight near normal. For heart disease the the treatment and other guidelines will depend on what exactly is the disease. There is nothing like best medicine, drug requirement will always be based on what is the diagnosis.

Instead of moping around get yourself busy. Go for long trip, or dig out an old hobby or find your old novels. Avoid company of the common friends especially if they are likely to talk about the same episode or jeer at you. Best is to take up a gym membership or target an event like a 10 km run or a game of tennis. Remember change is a part of life.

It is true that levels of oxygen are lower at higher altitudes ,even within aeroplanes but with new technology the oxygen levels within plane are okay. low levels of oxygen do trigger a heart attack. let him carry a small portable oxygen cylinder with him and breathe oxygen within plane without asking the crew for it ,though they do have it as all of us are aware about emergency situations , oxygen masks are dropped but why bother. there should be no difficulty in taking permission but do make everything very clear so that he does not face problems at airport during clearance.

Hi, it is gastritis. Gastritis/ gastric (stomach) problem are very common problem, and are related to lifestyle and dietary habits. Therefore, in this case, modification of your food habits will have greater role in relieving your problem. Each of advice of doctor important than any medicines you are taking. 1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods/ excessive tea & coffee. 2. It is better to avoid / moderate smoking and alcohol for rapid and long term relief. Tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol are important causes of gastritis / stomach problems. 3. Eat homemade food. Include more fibres in your diet (plenty of salads, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and complex carbs like Dalia, oats and whole wheat bread etc.). 4. Eat frequent meals. 5. Eat all your meals on time. Do not give a long gap between your meals which might result in flatulence. 6. Take a light and early dinner. 7. Try to keep yourself active. Exercise, do brisk walk, take a break between works and stretch yourself in between. Medication - 1. Take Digene 2 teaspoonful whenever feel discomfort but not more than 3 times a day. 2. Beet Root: Chukandar - How and Why You Should Eat It?

Beet Root: Chukandar - How and Why You Should Eat It?

Beetroots are packed with nutrients and can be eaten raw, pickled or cooked. Beetroots can even be juiced. It has been used in a number of sweet and savoury recipes. When it comes to beetroots, the root as well as the leaf can be eaten. Here are a few great reasons why you should eat beetroot.

  • It's good for the heart: Beetroots are rich in nitrates. This helps relax the arteries and reduces blood pressure. Being rich in fiber and antioxidants enables beetroots to prevent plaque formation in arteries. The antioxidants in beetroots also prevent bad cholesterol from being deposited on the artery walls. Thus it protects against heart attacks and strokes.
  • It helps fight diseases: Beetroots are said to boost immunity and fight a number of diseases including cancer, Alzheimer's and liver disorders. Beetroot is rich in betanin that expels cancer triggering agents and prevents the development of tumours on both the skin and liver. It is also said to protect a person from breast cancer. It also helps detoxify the body.
  • It helps build strong bones and teeth: Beetroots are rich in silica. This silica is a crucial component required for healthy bones and teeth. Along with silica, beetroots are also rich in magnesium, vitamin C and folate. Beetroots also help prevent osteoporosis.
  • It helps control blood sugar: Beetroots are naturally sweet, but can help control blood sugar and help fight diabetes. Beetroots are also rich in soluble fibers that can help regulate blood sugar levels. Drinking beetroot juice thrice a week is the best way to use beetroots to stabilize glucose levels in the body.
  • It aids in weight management: Beetroots have a very low calorific value and are rich in fiber. This makes it an effective tool in weight loss. It also helps rid the body of toxins and excess water.
  • It slows the aging process: Beetroot adds a glow to your skin. It helps cleanse the blood of toxins and thus makes skin healthier. The anti oxidants in beetroot reduce free radicals and thus slow down the aging process. This pink vegetable also has anti septic and anti inflammatory properties that help heal skin.
  • It makes hair healthier: Carotenoids in beetroot give hair a lustrous shine and help fight hair fall. Beetroots are also rich in protein, phosphorus and a number of other vitamin and minerals essential to healthy hair. It helps improve blood circulation in the scalp and helps remove dead skin and excessive oil from the scalp.

What steps to be taken in order to avoid heart attack disease kindly suggest some precautions to be taken.

MBBS, Fellowship From the College of General Practioners

What steps to be taken in order to avoid heart attack disease kindly suggest some precautions to be taken.
Dr has rightfully elaborated the dos & don'ts. Corollary to it I suggest: heavy breakfast, moderate lunch & a light dinner at a regular time. Avoid red meat, plenty of green leafy vegetables, drink plenty of water, sleep for 8 hours, exercise regularly, take a break from work (holiday) once a week and long breaks to do what your heart desires to do, 2 to 3 times in a year. Life becomes a paradise!
