For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Walking for 30 mins a day for at least 5 days in a week is recommended. Medicine will depend upon sugar level.

Excess of hair fall. Many soaps had changed but nothing happened. Please advise.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Excess of hair fall. Many soaps had changed but nothing happened. Please advise.
Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Dents/ scars are caused, most probably, by squeezing during pimples. Exfoliation and scrubbing by herbals is the best way out. Do not be upset by little longer process. It's safe. Dead skin cells are removed and regeneration of new skin cells slowly removes all scars.

Lifestyle adjustments can greatly improve your quality of sleep, especially when they’re done along with medical treatments. You may want to consider: incorporating more vegetables and fish into your diet, and reducing sugar intake reducing stress and anxiety by exercising creating and sticking to a regular sleeping schedule drinking less water before bedtime limiting your caffeine intake, especially in the late afternoon or evening decreasing tobacco and alcohol use eating smaller low carbohydrate meals before bedtime Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day can also significantly improve your sleep quality. While you might be tempted to sleep in on the weekends, this can make it more difficult to wake up and fall asleep during the workweek.

For pimples or black spot. Aapke according koi sii acchi cream jise pimples or black spot dono clear hojay.
These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

8 Reasons 'Morning Sex' Is The Best Start Of The Day

M.A. (Scholar), BHMS
Sexologist, Mumbai
8 Reasons 'Morning Sex' Is The Best Start Of The Day
8 Exciting Benefits Of Morning Sex

Men love morning sex. A man's body is such that he wakes up ready for sex, psychologically (and, physically) ready for sex, but has to go about his morning chores. Women, on the other hand, wake up to face the day with upcoming days errands on their mind. They need time to warm up for sex. But it is all in the head. While the male partner prefers to snuggle and have a round of morning sex, the female prefers to start the day by getting out of the bed.

The following benefits might change your opinion about the same.

1) Makes You Happier - Beginning your day with sex keeps you happier through the day, and hence healthier
2) Creates Bonding - Couples will be more connected throughout the day, even as they go about with their own work, at different locations. There’ll be a smile on their faces.
3) Enhances Immunity - It makes you upbeat and helps build a stronger immune system.
4) For Skin And Hair Health - Might come as a surprise, but it also improves the quality of your nails, skin and hair, and lessens your chances of catching a cold.
5) Improves Blood Circulation - Being a form of physical exercise which helps dilate the blood vessels and facilitate smoother blood circulation, lessening the risk of heart attack or stroke.
6) Rejuvenates You - Beginning the day with a session of lovemaking ensures you are alert and active as you feel rejuvenated.
7) Lessens Pain - Morning sex is also said to help reduce migraine and pain from arthritis.
8) Burns Your Calories - You burn around 300 calories even before your day has officially begun.

I have almost 10 egg whites a day. This is because I gym hard and eggs are the only source of good protein. But I am having stomach problems like loose motion and all that. What should I do? Will I stop eating eggs?

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Kindly stop eating eggs, I strongly suggest that you replace non-vegetarian foods with pure vegetarian foods ( NOT to eat eggs which has lot of cholesterol also ) and take fresh fruits also. Non-vegetarian foods are not natural for human body and can cause lot of harm in long run such as high cholesterol levels , obesity , blood pressure , blood sugar , heart problems , blood vessels damage and similar many problems, In fact , it is scientifically proved that Humans are biologically herbivores ( vegetarians ) , so eating non-vegetarian is against law of nature for Human beings. Regarding protein sources , many vegetarian foods provide ample quantity of proteins like lentils , beans , pulses , peas , milk , paneer. Vegetarian foods are best for your overall health. Please make it a point that too bitter, too sour, salty, hot, pungent, dry and burning foods are to be avoided as such foods cause distress, misery and disease. Thus deep frying foods or foods taking lot of oil as in gravy vegetables , salty foods , spicy foods , long preserved , frozen foods , junk foods like pizzas burgers chips are to be avoided. In addition , walk fast for 30 minutes every day or engage in some service every day. It has been proved that a genuine meditation process helps in sugar and overall well being.

Vaidya Visharad

I am 23 years old male. I am facing hair fall problem for last 1 year heavily. What should I do?
Hair is primarily made of protein and, therefore, it makes sense to eat a protein-rich diet if you're trying to maintain your healthy hair. However, eating a steak every day isn't going to help you. High-fat diets will result in increased testosterone levels, which has been linked to hair loss -- so steaks are not among the foods that prevent hair loss. Stick to leaner proteins such as fish (which has a myriad of health benefits beyond just maintaining your hair), chicken, calf?s liver, brewer?s yeast, low-fat cheese, eggs, almonds, beans, and yogurt. Soy milk and tofu are also smart to add to your diet because they are high in protein and low in bad fats.

I am suffering from fevers from last 3 days and head is paining regularly and I have tonsils also.
There are several things you can do to prevent a cold—they are all easy and inexpensive and worth the effort. Wash your hands often-with soap and warm water. The germs stick to the soap and get washed down the drain. Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. Cover Your Mouth and Nose When You Sneeze or Cough- Clean your hands every time you cough or sneeze. Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose, or Mouth-Germs are often spread when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Stay Home When You’re Sick-Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, don’t smoke, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food so you can fend off viruses. Take healthy balanced diet...like boiled eggs.daily in breakfast .. Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. Routinely clean and disinfect common areas of your home. Treatment:There is a gradual 1-3 day onset of symptoms. It often starts out as a sore throat, then a fever and coughing. As the cold progresses, the nasal mucus may thicken which is the last stage before the cold dries up. A cold usually lasts for a week or two. But, taking good care of yourself at home can relieve symptoms and help prevent complications if you are otherwise healthy. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn’t need medical treatment. Complications include bacterial infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs which must be treated with antibiotics. In general you should: • get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight the cold • staying at home will keep you from spreading germs • drink plenty of liquids like herbal tea or hot broth/vegetable/tomato soups. Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can keep you from getting enough sleep Runny Nose and Sneezing- if you have post nasal drip, gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Drink extra fluids. (avoid sugary and high calorie drinks) Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation • Tablet Nasorest-P once/twice daily may reduce the amount of mucous. • Humidify the rooms you are in most or your whole house if possible. Cough-Coughing is how your body gets rid of debris and mucus from the airways during a viral infection. Unless your cough is severe or is keeping you from resting at night, it is better not to treat it. A severe cough can be treated with a cough syp, but don’t try to completely stop the cough. There are two types of coughs. Productive and non-productive or dry cough. Non-productive, dry cough. A dry, hacking cough may develop near the end of a cold. Dry coughs that follow viral colds are often worse at night and can last up to several weeks. Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough. Cough drops can sooth an irritated throat, but most don’t affect the cough. Productive cough. A productive cough is one that brings up mucus from the back of the throat or the lungs. Productive coughs should not be suppressed to the point they no longer bring up mucus. Use syrup Alex. Drink lots of water if you have a productive cough. Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily..for tonsils antibiotics have to be taken
