Hello- dry cough occurs due to use of power full modern medicines on previous episode of productive cough. >try these ayurvedic tips- 1) chew vasa leaves or use vasavleha 1 tsp twice daily. 2) apply warm sesame oil on chest followed by hot sudation, it will remove the deposited cough inside lungs and make your chest congestion go away. 3) do hot water syeam inhalation. Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

First completely quit the habit of tobacco chewing. Start taking some vitamin supplements with lycopene in it. Yours is just the beginning. So don't worry. It can be treated with medication n mouth exercises. Avoid oilly n spicy food completely. Eat healthy and balanced diet.

Diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve body fat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat. I can also suggest home remedies.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

Dear, your mind is like any other tool. The more you use the more you know how to use it correctly. Usually recall is a problem rather than a memory. Though it is a vast topic, however, you need to essentially remain calmer, clearer, and relaxed to enhance your recall. Your mind is like any computer. You can keep storing till the time the capacity is full. However, you may not find what you have stored, if the system is cluttered, if enough stored item is not in right folder, if the stored file is not correctly tagged, if the computer slows down due to system overload, unhealthy programming, you need to close down some of the programming, uninstall them correctly and then install the programs which works for you. In short lesser the clutter and chatter and distraction, better is your memory.

Dear doctor. I am 67 yrs old. I was operated twice for angioplasty (2006 and 2010). Since more than two months I am feeling weakness, loss of apatite, head reeling, vomiting sensation, sleeplessness. Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Too much fasting also leads to obesity. Have a healthy and timely breakfast. Don't skip breakfast at any cost. Have less oily foods. Only take dinner litely.
