Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. *hair fall can also result when one indulges in too much dying, blow drying or use of hot curlers. *dandruff can also be great cause behind hair fall. Take homoeopathic medicine folliplus tablets (adven) (3 tabs) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.

Height is determined by a combination of genetic, lifestyle and environmental factors upto a certain age. Height is regulated by somatotropin horomone which gradually subside after adolescence. For males growth usually stops after puberty which is around 20yrs of age and for females it is 18 yrs, dont get decieved by false advertisements which claim to increase height post puberty, instead you can concentrate on looking tall by reducing weight giving yourself a lean or muscular appearance. Dear lybrate user, for weight gain. Avoid fast food, junk food, heavy food, oily, spicy etc food which are heavy in digest. Take good nutrition base diet which contains vitamins, minerals, protein etc like green leafy vegetables. Take milk two times in a day. Avoid stress and anger. It is most important. Take enough sleep. Take one hour sleep at noon time also. Enjoy light music if you like. Develop your hobby one hour per day. Think positive. Take enough rest. Avoid too much physical and mental work. Take fermented diet once in a week. Take dry fruits. Take grapes, watermelon, banana etc fruit which is heavy in calory.

I stopped the use of an eye drop acupat after using it for 2 months, 10 days ago. However a sinus infection caused by its sude effect has not gone away. I am afraid that is it a long term side effect or it will go away? What shall I do to get rid of it?

Sometimes if the connection between nose and eyes duct is wide and you put eye drops this will go into nose and produces irritation and congestion and if congestion stays for long time this leads to infection, if having infection in nose than take antibiotics and decongestant under guidance from nose surgeon.

Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning

Hi, Your dad is suffering with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Chronically high blood glucose can affect nerves of arms/hands, legs and feet. Patients can experience symptoms like burning sensation, pin prick sensation, stabbing pain, numbness etc of their hands and feet and if severe may go to the arms and legs too. Management; 1) Good control of blood glucose with proper diet, exercise and diabetic medications.Once the nerves are affected, they may not fully recover, but atleast his condition will not worsen and sometimes his symptoms will improve too. 2) There are medicines which can help with the neuropathy. No squint cannot be corrected by laser. You will have to undergo surgery on extraocular muscles (muscles around the eye which are responsible for eye movements) to align your eyes correctly.
