Hairfall is a symptom not a disease it's may be because of nutritional deficiency or Anemia or any hormones Imbalance like PCOD Thyroid progesterone estrogen FSH LH hormones disturbances. Most common nutritional deficiencies that cause hair loss: Iron: Everyone knows that iron deficiency causes anemia; most people don't know is that iron deficiency can also cause hair loss. A deficiency of vitamin A may lead to dry and itchy scalp. Below food is best to stop hairfall: Eggs and Dairy Products: Milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs etc. Are loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids. Dairy products are also a great source of biotin (Vitamin B7) that is known to fight hair loss. So once consult a doctor she can rule out whether it's normal hair fall or because of any health issues.

My hair have become so thin and brittle that it easily falls and breaks with no pressure due to which its density has been reduced upto great extent. Every time I comb my hair or just make my hand go through my hair, 5-7 strands of hair falls down. Please suggest me dietary supplements to increase thickness of hair and to stop hair fall. I used to have seborrheic dermatitis but now it has been cured as I use ketoconazole 2% twice a week. Thank you doctor in advance.

I will suggest you to wash your hair daily with selsun shampoo and apply parachute hair oil daily and follow up with finding after two weeks and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

Increase low calorie high nutrient dense food in your diet. such as soyabeans, tofu, paneer.. Increase your fibre consumption.. Such as fruits, vegetables, chia seeds, flax seeds.

Hello, this may be due to acidity/ gas/ indigestion. I am giving you general health advises for proper digestion: 1. Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2. Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3. Moderate physical activity regularly 4. Avoid excessive tea, coffee 5. Do not postpone breakfast 6. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 7. Take home made light food like moong dal, dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly see physician for further management.

it's OK to use quadriderm for short time like a week or so. if you continue using it for longer time, it can be harmful to you and make the skin very thin as it contains steroids.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Only stopping sweets is not going to help in reducing blood glucose levels. You will have to take a totally restricted diet, that gives exact caloric needs based on your ideal body weight (67 kgs) and not on 83 kgs. Plus there has to be a reduction in total carbohydrate intake. Because all the carbs (rice, roti, chapati, paratha, dosa, idli, potato, banana, corn, millets) get converted to glucose only after digestion. Plus you will have to reduce your weight and bring it towards 67 kgs. That will help in preventing progressing towards diabetes. Thanks.
