Is anal sex safe for both the partners? Even if we do not use condoms. Doing it on regular basis is ok or it has some side effects for the female?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
I would not recommend but if you still want to try :- Use plenty of lubricant (e.g. KY JELLY) to reduce the risk of tissue tears and minimize friction. Try to relax by taking a warm bath before anal sex.Lying on your stomach may make entry smoother. Stop anal sex if you start experiencing pain. If you experience bleeding or you notice a boil or rashes around the anus or a discharge coming from it, see a doctor as soon as possible

What are kegel exercises? Please mention properly in detail, it is required to last long in bed to satisfy my partner as she complains I don't last long till her orgasm.

How to do Kegel exercises for men •Find the right muscles. To identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas. These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles. Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easiest to do them lying down at first. •Perfect your technique. Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. Try it a few times in a row. When your muscles get stronger, try doing Kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking. •Maintain your focus. For best results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Avoid holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the exercises. •Repeat 3 times a day. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. Don't make a habit of using Kegel exercises to start and stop your urine stream. Some doctors think this could cause a bladder infection.

Dear Lybrate User, You may be suffering from a clinical condition called PHIMOSIS. The most conventional method to get rid of it is surgery. However, if you are unwilling to undergo surgery then you can try the following process at home. 1) Buy Betamethasone cream from local allopathic shop. During buying you should check the composition of the cream to confirm whether it contains 0.05% Betamethasone in it. If you cannot find 0.05% Betamethasone cream then you can buy any local Anaesthetic Gel (e.g. Lidocaine, Lignocaine, Xylocaine) from allopathic retail shop. 2) Apply a little amount of that anaesthetic gel at the lower part of the prepuce of penis where the foreskin remains attached. 3) After application of the gel, retract the foreskin backwards as far as you can. Due to the anaesthetic property of the gel you will be able to retract the foreskin backwards to some extent more than you can do in normal condition. 4) Release the foreskin when you feel pain 5) Again repeat the same process. Do it continuously for at least 30 minutes in a day. Within a month you will feel that your foreskin has become loose.

Hello Lybrate User, Follow this tips or ways to help you to increase your stamina naturally - a) Eat more veggies and fruits - Eating a banana just before sex could help improve your performance as it contains potassium. It also has a large amount of glucose that can help you last longer. b) Drinking amla or gooseberry juice everyday could help you last longer in bed and also improve sperm quality as it contains iron and zinc. c) Avoid processed sugar - that could reduce your stamina. d) Cut down on smoking - It hardens your arteries and lessens blood flow to the penis. e) Reduce alcohol intake - Alcohol has a bad effect on your senses and you are not fully in the moment. f) Work on your arms and abdominal muscles -  Most of the sexual positions require the man to be on his hands and feet. So, working on biceps, triceps and abs at the gym or body-weight exercises at home can help. Exercise also improves blood flow in general including to the penis and this could also help.  * Try Kegels or pelvic floor exercises.

Hello- The testicles are extremely sensitive organs. A minor strike to them can produce excruciating pain. More importantly, injuries can jeopardize the health and functionality of the testicles, possibly leading to male infertility. Therefore, testicle pain needs to be examined and treated immediately.
