Our weight should be proportionate to our height. For every given height there is a normal weight range. You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Remind your child to go to the bathroom immediately before they go to bed. •Limit late night fluid intake. Usually no fluid intake within 3 hours prior to bedtime. If your child goes to bed several hours earlier than you do, it is often helpful to wake them up for a bathroom visit before you go to bed. •Avoid giving them chocolate or drinks that contain caffeine as they can increase the the urine output. Praise the child for staying dry. Never shame or punish them for wetting their bed. Consider getting a calendar and noting every dry night. The child is then rewarded for an agreed upon number of dry nights. If he has a relapse, you simply restart the count. This is always done in a matter of fact fashion. Your child is absolutely not doing this on purpose, and introducing shame and hurt into this situation certainly does not hasten the resolution process nor does it enhance the parent-child relationship. •Confide in the child the fact that you were also a bed wetter, if in fact you were. Explain that it might be hereditary, so that it will make him feel less guilty and less ashamed of himself. Consult us for medical treatment.

Some short-term achiness in your belly is normal during pregnancy, and you can experience different sensations in different trimesters. Here are some common causes: 1. Implantation Many women feel menstrual-like pain or cramps for a day or so early in pregnancy. This usually happens when the embryo is embedding itself in the uterine lining. 2. Stretching ligaments In the second trimester, the muscles and ligaments that support the uterus stretch, causing a dull ache across the belly or a sharp pain on one side. Many women feel this pain most when getting up from a bed, chair, or bathtub, or while coughing. 3. False labor In the second and third trimesters, you may feel contractions or an irregular tightening of your uterine muscles, often called Braxton-Hicks contractions or false labor. These are usually painless and tend to increase in the weeks leading up to your due date. It’s probably false labor if the contractions stop when you walk, are irregular, and don’t get more intense or rapid over time. 4. Cramping In the last weeks of pregnancy, cramping that feels like a backache or menstrual cramps may be a sign that labor is imminent. 5. Normal pains Normal abdominal pain may be the result of gas and bloating from the hormones that slow down digestion, pressure from your growing uterus, constipation, or heartburn. Changing positions, walking, or moderate exercise (such as housework) may help ease gas pains. Relief from abdominal aches When you feel abdominal achiness: Sit down, put your feet up, and relax. Resting comfortably should relieve your symptoms. A hot water bottle or heating pad (on the lowest setting) might help. Drink lots of liquids to stay hydrated. When you do feel a pain, bend towards the pain to relieve it. Homeopathy For Stomach Ailments: Flatulence and constipation are also usual conditions that pregnant women have to face. Here are some homeopathy remedies for them: Chelidonium: It is advised for constipation and dark stool. Magnesium Phosphoricum: Apart from treating pain in stomach, relaxes muscles and cures cramps in other body parts too. Lycopodium: It is prescribed when you feel bloated after meals. Phosphorus: It will help when you are feeling pale and weak, as well as constipated. Sulphur: It is great for women having liver problems and loose stool. Apart from these remedies, homeopathy is also successful in curing swelling in body, weakness and varicose veins. It works especially well for treating psychological conditions like mood swings, irritability and wanting to be left alone.

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. In order to stop the formation of pimples the aforesaid four causes should be terminated. Now the bitter truth is neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you when ever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines are based on the symptoms of your diseased condition & these medicines need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. If the weight gain has increased drastically without making any evident change in food and other physical activities. I recommended you to get your thyroid levels checked. Still for basic weight loss to be achieved maintains a balanced diet of not more than 1500 calories per day. 1. Refined sugars in coffee and tea should be completely stopped, shift to multigrain chapatti instead of only wheat based and have more complex crabs in your snacks time like roasted grain and salads. 2.2serving of fruits should be included but keep the serving size maximum to 1 at one time. 3. Include 1-2 portions of proteins in form of tofu, paneer, sprouts and oat meals daily in the evening time to manage the intake of carbohydrates after 7: 30 pm. 4. Maintain a good balanced of carbohydrates, fats and protein to the ratio and include a cardio session of 45 mins daily for at least 5 days a week to maintain a good health overall.

Hello, first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. *Eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. *Include more protien rich supplements to your diet. *Take phosphorus 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. *wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. *Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. *Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) *Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. *Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, daily morning. You dont need to take medicine at all, even if your LDL is beyond normal range. You should maintain healthy lifestyle however. Eat well,sleep well, exercise and forget about cholesterol.
