In his age group pls don't give him any market available pain killers. If is much, give him plain tab. Calpol (500. But the only treatment is physiotherapy after getting relief from pain.
If pain is more in your mouth, then use ont. Zytee (mouth paint) three times a day and followed by
1. Candid mouth paint
2.cap. Vit-b complex
need to talk more before starting those medicines.
I think you r right regarding your diagnosis. Lets do a X-ray first to see whether associated with sacroilitis or not.(X-ray both pelvis including sacroiliac joint AP VIEW). In the meantime you can use tab. Chymoral forte with tab. Rantac (150) two times a day for 3 days at least. If you allow we can talk personally for further management protocol after X-ray. Avoid sitting on hard surface and avoid blunt trauma.
In your age group more likely it is muscular pain in nature. Use local diclofenac gel and warm compression. Take rest in between playtime as much as possible. Use ORS water or salt sugar lemon water after play (decrease sodium level can lead to such cramping). We can talk personally for better follow up and care. Thank you.
It's quite often for adelocen age group. Avoid cold exposure for a long. We often told that need to care on or before starting of the cold seasons. I want to tell you few points
1.avoid cold exposure as much as possible 2.if mild sore throats paper pls start warm water or beta dine gargle solution gargling 3/4 times a day.

Pain in shoulder joint in young commonly associated with muscular in nature. Need to consult more regarding the specific nature of pain. In the meantime you can follow 3 things
1.apply local diclofenac gel 2.avoid heavy lifting of weights or passive flexion of hands
3.apply warm compression after 30 min or 1 hour after application of gel
If possible contact with me or any other pmr specialist doctor before taking routine painkillers.
Your age and medical history have to know first along with your nature of work and physical activities. If you are young, possibly it's muscular in nature. And if you are old then may be it's neuromuscular origin. Need talk in details before provide any prescription. In the meantime, maintain postural care and take warm compression along with some diclofenac gel. Avoid weight lifting and passive flexion of hand.
Nerve compression below the muscle. Use hot and cold alternative compression. Along with local diclofenac gel. You requested to talk with me or any other PMR specialist doctor before proceed further.
