Only chlorofranil 50 mg can remove my OCD problem or some other medicine or therapy methods please help I have OCD sexual thoughts problem.

There are many medicines for OCD and dosage vary and they need to be taken as per psychiatrist advise and not over the counter or general doctors/ other specialists prescription as long term follow up, side effect monitoring and dose titration are complex and can be done by psychiatrist. Take proper rest of 6-8 Hours. Take plenty of water and juices. Just be relaxed & don't get panic. Must do some meditation n Pranayam to improve your concentration & reduce irritability. Pursue your hobbies as much as possible. Music therapy also helps to reduce anxiety n irritability specially by listening to our favorite song or music. Try to spend your max time with your loved one, friends n family. Feel free to contact any time. Take care.

I am 45 years old male and I keep thinking about my future and imminent death and old age issues. Some times I don't feel that I have not done enough to feel secure. Not many friends and I have almost no social life. Some times I miss my night sleep due to anxiety and it shoots up when I have to travel and stay in a hotel with windows sealed. Because of this I avoided going to US this July.

You are incapacitating yourself. Everybody must be responsible, respectful and functional at all times to remain healthy as a personality. And the beauty is that it is never too late for anything. Go out and socialize. Being a recluse will on give you time to entertain negative thoughts and develop anxiety. This is no way to live life. We are social animals, gregarious by nature and we need each other. In that​ context, we need to develop until we become interdependent.

I am a 20 years old currently seeking treatment for ocd. I feel like checking stuff and get lots of repetitive thoughts. Apart from that I also feel low, lack of energy, hopelessness, low self esteem, lack of interest and joy in anything, inability to focus on simple tasks to a great extent. But my psychiatrist says its only due to ocd and anxiety. What should I do? Am I suffering from only anxiety or depression as well?

Secondary to OCD anxiety and Depression are very common. Your psychiatrist is right. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a common mental health problem. Symptoms typically include recurring thoughts and repetitive actions in response to the recurring thoughts. A common example is recurring thoughts about germs and dirt, with a need to wash your hands repeatedly to "clean off the germs" However, there are many other examples like sexual thoughts, counting, checking, orderliness, etc. The usual treatments are cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant medicine, or both. Treatment often works well to reduce the symptoms and distress of OCD greatly.
