for hypertension he take amlodipine 2.5 mg tablet once daily in the morning. In the evening the blood pressure has been found to be around 150/80 for the last 3 days. Is 150/80 normal for 80 years old? Or is it high? He insists that it is normal for 80 years old while I say he needs to visit a doctor for refixing his dosage. I have been working very hard and brought down my weight from 89 kg to 78 kg. Stopped smoking for last 5 months. My pulse rate used to stay elevated near 85-90 bpm range. Exercise regimen everyday:
I brisk walk 6 km in 1 hour
cycle for 10 km
now my pulse rate comes down to 60 bpm even while I am sitting idle. Spo2 is 98%.
