A person has BAV and a brief history of haemorrhage. Can haemorrhage be triggered/happen again solely due to stress?

Causes which may increase the risk of aneurysm rupture or AVM rupture include high blood pressure, physical exertion and emotional stress. Other causes of SAH can be traumatic, such as head injury occurring from a fall, car accident or blow to the head.

In the year 2005 I was diagnosed with a dot like calcification in the left parietal area of the brain. Is it migraine? Since then I'm taking topiramate tablets daily. Is it safe? Is it ever curable? Will it be risky in future? I still have frequent headaches. I have asthma too and overweight. Thanks.

Integrated Medicine Specialist, Kochi
Asthma, overweight migraine all a re lifestyle diseases which are curable without medicines You have to treat the root cause and not the symptom -Headache alone .Your Dr. Has to treat the reversible causes and triggers for headache first. The cause for the headache may not be in your head it can be due to problems arising elsewhere in the body like Gastric issues, BP ,food sensitivity, Stress, Eye, ENT, problems ,environmental toxins. They can be the cause either alone or in combination. Do not blindly believe your Dr. because he may have vested monetary interests. Always take second opinion if you do not want to get misguided .Change your doctor for sure if he is spending less time with you and asking you to do only CT and MRI Scans without coming to a diagnosis and If he is not answering your questions properly, and is rushing through your appointment and not spending the complete allotted time for your consultation for which you have paid, is not educating you about the disease and not offering non medical healthy alternative options. He will fix your money for sure but make sure he fixes your disease also Your headache will remain if your Doctor 1) Has not taken detailed dietary, lifestyle, environmental, occupational, social, family history and not identified the triggers. 2) Not done the comprehensive lab testing which should include tests for inflammation, mineral and vitamin deficiency. These 2 steps needs to be done correctly before suggesting the correct treatment. Take a. Consultation after sending feedback with name and contact number .Find the triggers of your headache and eliminate them All diseases begin in the gut. Your Dr. may not be aware of this. Headache can only be fixed permanently by fixing your nutrition, lifestyle, and identifying the triggers and fixing them.
