Hello sir, I have stammering problem and lost confidence and heart beating more. What should i do?

Masters
Speech Therapist, Delhi
Firstly you need to calm down and relax your self before starting a conversation with the help of breathing exercises. Slow down your speed and prolong the word whenever you stutter. If it doesn't work then Consult a speech therapist and take speech therapy sessions.

If you are talking to yourself, that is not as good sign. At your age a lot of things could be happening especially due to hormonal disturbances. Some of these will be issues that have had origins in childhood and are looking for a resolution. I suspect that there could be something you are looking at that needs immediate attention. If you do not resolve that, you will carry a permanent negative trait into adulthood. Meet with a counselor along with your parents and get help soon. In the meantime do get involved with people and spend less time alone. Do interesting activities and get active in sports and exercise.

Hello Lybrate User I appreciate your effort that you could understand and put it in words what you are going through. It is very important or rather a first step that we require some help. After reading what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to visit a Psychiatrist or if the psychiatrist is not available in your area then visit a physician for the same. Side by side if you can seek help from a clinical psychologist, it would be great as it will you to understand your symptoms more and more and also an understanding would be developed about your personality traits, your coping mechanisms and what is actually leading to such thinking. A lot of people undergo certain life events, if not events but 'something' keeps on bothering them, due to which one develops negative thinking towards the self and the others. Moreover, it seems that you have started making associations of lot of things in your life, like if I will do this, that will happen etc. Or just like you mentioned in your concern. Therapy with the psychologist helps you to develop a skill to deal with this vicious circle you are into most of the time. So, consult a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist, take few therapy sessions with the clinical psychologist and you will experience a shift from your current state of mind. If you have further queries, please write back. All the Best! Regards.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, do not get depressed by depression, it is not something like which can be treated fully by medicine. Its only you who can cope up and come out of this phase. Depression is just a phase. But continuous thinking about problems keeps on prolonging it. First of always keep in mind that we can not control all the situations around us. Something we have to let go the problems. Try to find solution, not worrying about problems. Have confidence in you. You can pass this bad phase also. There are few ayurvedic medicine which will help you to relax your self. But don't be dependent on medicine. These medicine don't cause any side effect as well as dependency. Take stress com 2 capsule twice daily and SARASWATARISTA 20 ml after meal with water. Try to make a time table for all things don't be lethargic. Do not skip meal. Take warm water. Hope you will definitely able to get rid of depression. For porper guidance consult.

I lost my Love feeling depression I am not at all interested in other works what's the solution of the this problem.
Hello Lybrate User The information that you have provided too less to suggest you something. What I can understand from your concern is that you have lost some person in your life and which is creating feelings of being aloof and disinterest in your life. You first need to understand that if some person is there in our life, so we invest lot of energy in that person through our feelings, emotions and one day if the person leaves us in any form, death or separation, a void or a space is created which is now empty. Earlier you used to invest your energy in it but now there is no body to take that energy or love or your feelings anymore, so your own energy reverses and comes back to you, which is slightly painful as no body is there at the receiving end. This feeling stays for some time because when it takes time to develop feelings for the other person so it also takes time to get away with those feelings also. So, if possible you can consult a clinical psychologist in your area or any nearby hospital. This will help you in dealing with the loss that you are experiencing and not able to concentrate on your work. And such loses takes time to cure but sometimes gaining a quick realization that yes the person has left, helps us to regain our balance. It will be too early for me to give a therapy plan here, as I do not know much about you as a person, your personality traits or how you deal with situations in your life. And therapy is successful usually in a setup with a clinical psychologist. Please write back if you have any further concerns related to this. Regards.
