It is generally noticed that the people who fast for long hours (self dieting), or take more carbs and less protein, tend to put on more weight because their body start storing even carbs. This causes imbalance in the body so you have to first deal with your deficiencies and nutrient gaps. To loose with heathy food like eat every 2-3 hours in moderate amounts, a combination of more fibre, whole grains, sprouts, legumes, salads, 3-4 cups green tea, 1 fist dry fruits to have virgin fats, no to aerated & sugary beverages, junk foods, fast foods etc. And exercise for 45 min including yoga especially kapal bharti - 15 min every day.

Substance Dependence

Alcohol and other substances are known to cause intoxication to man since the oldest found records. Much has been talked about the ill effects of all these substances and yet their use is rampant in all society - rich, poor, young, old, male, female & all the races around the world. Why? intoxication.

Everybody has a certain amount of dopamine & endorphins in their which are the pleasure chemical. Some people produce less of it, genetically or due to other reasons. These individuals seek out substance in various forms for their dopamine & endorphin levels to be maintained. Tolerance. Different genetically programmed individuals start consuming substances at different age. And after a certain level, they need more of the same substance for the desired effect. This is called tolerance.

Withdrawal. When a person is addicted to a substance long enough that when one stops its suddenly, it can cause physicals effects like tremors, sleeplessness, cravings, body ache, etc. These features are known as withdrawals.

When all these three features are seen in a person along with a lifestyle which only involves getting & consuming the substance as main priority, then we can diagnose the person as substance dependence. The main substances of abuse seen in our country are:
- tobacco (cigarettes, bidis, gutkha, tambaku, khaini, paan, zarda)
- alcohol (beer, spirit)
- cannabis (ganja, charas, weed, grass, marijuana)
- opioids (garad, brown sugar, heroin, cough syrup)
- benzodiazapenes (button, roofies)
- cocciane
- inhalant (whitener, nail paint remover)
- hallucinogens (lsd, acid, mushrooms, amphitamines)

And many more which can be experimented with and can become drugs of abuse.
The main thing to keep in mind regarding treatment of substance dependence is that it is a psychiatric illness like diabetes or hypertension, and that it is not under the voluntary control of the patient. The patient requires strong social support to strengthen his motivation to leave the substance. Medications can only help in suppressing the withdrawal features & control cravings to some extent. But acceptance of substance dependence as a mental illness by the society is the need for the hour.

Any patient should not try leaving substance on their own as withdrawal can lead to further complications. Please consult your nearest psychiatrist for medication & further help.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months and for loosing weight few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast , khaari ,naan ,white bread . can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water

If you r eating non veg food thrice in a week then you need not take extra proteins. U should take protein supplements only when you exercise. And after exercise. Protein intake depends on your weight. For example if your weight is 64 kgs then you should consume approximately 65 gms of protens. If you r eating vegetarian food then soya, cereals, spinach, milk etc r good sources of proteins.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

CINNAMON

Cinnamon can give a boost to metabolism by 20%. If you are consuming more food than required, your body gets excess sugar, the liver will converts this sugar into fatty acids or fat. Nothing to worry. Those are the hairs which are about to fall naturally and while applying lotion it sticks to your hands. About 100 hairs per day is normal to lose but if you feel it's excessive do consult dermatologist about it. Take care.

Eat fresh vegetables daily.
Avoid having sugar completely.
Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life.
Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day.
Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system.
Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day.
Increase the fiber intake as it provides a sense of fullness and also prevents hunger pangs.
Take antioxidants for protecting the body against the toxins released during weight loss.
Exercise catalyzes your efforts to lose weight and even regular walking for thirty minutes can give you the benefits of an aerobics exercise.
To improve the metabolism, try increasing the duration, frequency, intensity of your daily workout.
Remember that maintaining the ideal weight is a lifetime commitment and not a short-term affair. Firmly believe that the pleasure of being trim and healthy is far better than the pleasure of eating unwisely.

Your problem could be because of anxiety and stress. Avoid stress, anxiety and severe physical and mental exertion. Go for regular exercise, drink plenty of water, take bland diet, avoid spicy food. Practice yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercise to relieve you from stress and calm your mind. Check your Bp and eyesight. Take crocin 500mg sos after food during headache. Consult for further advice
