How many percent does traumatic cataract effect on vision and can be recover vision after surgery. Which surgeries are carried out for it.

How many percent does traumatic cataract effect on vision and can be recover vision after surgery.
Which surgeries ar...
The percent of vision affected depends on the cause or intensity of injury that caused the cataract, and also how long back the injury occurred. The eye surgeon who is going to do the surgery can give you a clear estimation of the possibility of percentage of visual recovery. The procedure will be to clear the cataract by phacoemulsification or laser emulsification, or total removal of cataract and implanting an intraocular lens (iol). Do not unduly worry about the outcome, best method is to get the surgery done and hope for the best possible results.

I have my eyes has slightly tilt. There is any operations that my eyes comes there original position.

FICO, DNB Ophtalmology

I have my eyes has slightly tilt. There is any operations that my eyes comes there original position.
Hello lybrate-user. Tilting of the eyes is known as squint. There are multiple causes associated with tilting (squinting) of the eyes. Let me enumerate them in brief: (1) refractive error (specially in children): one of the common causes. (2) abnormal action (over action or under action of certain muscles that hold the eye in place. (3) neurological issues. (4) lazy eye. (5) after eye surgery. (6) trauma/ injury to the eyes. Thus, the cause for your squint should be identified first. Coming to your ain query, it would be possible to correct the squint surgically. This would be or cosmetic purpose chiefly. It would not be possible to restore vision in your eyes. Also, there would be a possibility that the squint would recur. This recurrence could happen in a few years time. Thus, I would suggest you to get assessment in person by an eye specialist and then gauge the risk benefit ration in order to decide the treatment plan.

Hello, I can suggest you homoeopathic eye drops by Bakson - Cinereria Euphrasia Eye drops/ instil 1-2 drops into the eye, 3 times a day. Management: - Try to rest your eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash your hands, hold clean water in your hand, keep your eyes closer to the water and wash the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the held water in hand. Repeat it for 3-4 times again. - Avoid watching T.V., working on computer or mobile, reading. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently.
