  •  A diet high in fat (particularly saturated fat) and high in salt is associated with an increased risk of coronary heart disease.
  • It is estimated that, on average, a third of cancers could be prevented by changes in diet. A diet which is high in fibre and whole grain cereal and low in fat has the potential to prevent a number of cancers, including colon, stomach and breast cancer.
  • Many fertility experts believe that an unhealthy diet, high in fat, sugar, and processed foods and low in nutrients essential to fertility, can lead to infertility and increase the chances of miscarriage.
  • A diet high in fat, sugar and salt leads to weight gain and increases the risk of obesity. Carrying excess weight doesn’t just increase the risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and infertility, it is also associated with fatigue, low self-esteem and poor mental and physical performance.
  • An unhealthy diet increases the risk of depression and mood swings. It’s also linked to PMS, food cravings and anxiety.
  •  A diet high in additives, preservatives and refined sugar can cause poor concentration, hyperactivity and aggression. This is because foods high in sugar and additives lack chromium which is removed in the refining process. Chromium is needed for controlling blood sugar levels; when these levels are out of control it can trigger these behavioural problems.
  • A diet that is low in the essential nutrient calcium (needed to keep your bones strong) increases the risk of bones becoming weak or brittle a condition known as osteoporosis.
  • A diet low in nutrients puts enormous strain on the liver. The liver is essential for the proper digestion and absorption of life-sustaining vitamins and minerals. For optimum health you need your liver to be in peak condition. The liver cannot cope with large amounts of saturated fat and alcohol and this can lead to liver and kidney problems, such as kidney disease and cirrhosis (a life-threatening condition where the cells of the liver die).
  • If diet is poor this can compromise your immune system and make you more susceptible to colds, flu and poor health. We need a steady and balanced intake of essential vitamins and mineral to keep our immune systems working properly, to provide protection from infections and disease.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Please don’t panic. You must understand PREMATURE EJACULATION. Premature ejaculation is diagnosed when you have premature ejaculation within one or two minute of sex, continuously several times with the same partner for over six months. There is nothing called premature ejaculation while doing masturbation. Premature ejaculation occurs when a man ejaculates sooner during sexual intercourse than he or his partner would like. Premature ejaculation is a common problem which happens due to psychological stress and anxiety in majority of people. I suggest counseling and sex therapy. Take care.

  5. Aloe Vera and ground sound leaf: The blend of turmeric (1/2 tbsp), ground sound leaf (1/2 tbsp), and aloe vera gel (1 tbsp) if taken twice every prior day lunch and supper, is useful to control sugar in blood along these lines successful for the issue.
  6. Cinnamon powder: This is one of the essential regular home remedies. Step by step instructions to plan: First take one liter of drinkable water. Include 3-4 tbsp of cinnamon powder and warmth it for 20 minutes. Strain the blend and made it cool. Drink it consistently.

If you're otherwise healthy, you can look after yourself at home by resting, keeping warm and drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration. If you feel unwell and have a fever, you can takeparacetamol or anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen to lower your temperature and relieve aches.

If you bottle feed him you have to stop bottle and feed breast milk and no problem in giving boiled apple or fresh one . Vomiting can be due to a disease and may need to check up . Burp him well after every feed

According to Ayurveda, ashwagandha (scientific name: Withania somnifera), also known as Indian ginseng, helps increase height. You can use ega cream twice daily all over sensitive skin. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen both indoors as well as before going out. It shud b both uva and uvb protective. I am 34 years old female, and weigh almost 69 kgs and my height is 5.4 ft .therefore I believe am 15 kgs overweight. I am a pure Vegetarian. I was 54 before pregnancy and put almost 20 Kgs. After delivery and my daughter now 5 years I still weigh 69 kgs. My body seems to be moderately sized however all the fat lies around my hip. I am a good dancer (free style) and have been working for over 17 years hailing from Mumbai and have been active always but off lately am having neck pains, chest and rib pains and the whole of left side .which I guess is due to acidity. For weight loss kindly follow these tips: 1. Have small frequent meals instead of 2-3 large ones 2. Eat slowly chewing your food well 3. Avoid junk/ processed/canned/ready to eat/ street/ outside/fried/sugary foods, soft, hard & energy drinks, glucose, chocolate, ice cream, sweets, candies 4. Replace simple carbs- sugar, sabudana, potato, refined grains (white rice, white bread, maida, noodles, biscuit, cake) with complex carbs- whole grains (brown rice, atta bread, dalia, suji, oats, atta, jowar, barley, quinoa), whole legumes (soyabean, peas, rajma, sprouts), whole fruits, vegetables, nuts oilseeds, lean meat(fish/chicken/egg) 5. Brisk walk daily for at least 30 mins, practice pranayam & kapalbhati, walk instead of hiring transport, take 15 mins light walk post meals, do not lie down within 1 hr of a meal, avoid sleeping in afternoon

1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.
