Hi I hv undergone 2 c section my 2nd baby is jst 4 months. How cn I reduce my belly fat n weight?
Firstly it is all right to put on little weight in this stage. It is normal, but very soon you can get back to being fit. You have to focus on both a Light Nutritious Diet + Daily exercise. A good balanced diet is sufficient to take care of your needs plus baby's needs. Normally in our households they insist on overfeeding the mother will all sorts of Ghee and other high calorie stuff. Avoid overeating. You need to cut down on the excess Oils and Excess Sugars in your diet. . Max 5 Teaspoons of Oil/Ghee per day. Max 4 Teaspoons of Sugar Per day. Eat three fruits every day. Take 15 almonds daily. Eat three meals + some light snacks like Poha / Sprouts / Salads in between meals. Don't skip any meals. Do 30 mins walk daily. Instead of pram, you can carry your baby in a sling while you walk. Slow and steady wins the fitness race. With time you will be fit and fine.

For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

The best way to get a flat stomach is to try high intensity cardio. This is because it burns a larger number of calories than low intensity cardio. Playing sports such as football, basketball, cricket, tennis and other sports is also helpful in promoting weight loss. You should perform cardio exercises each day for 60 minutes. Brisk walking is considered an effective cardio workout for those who suffer from joint problems, as it does not place much stress on the joints, compared to other cardio exercises such as running or cycling.

My hair growth is very much poor? What is the cause of stop hair growth What should I use to make growth faster.

My hair growth is very much poor?
What is the cause of stop hair growth
What should I use to make growth faster.
1.Wash hair sparingly and use a good-quality shampoo. Washing hair too often can leave hair dried out, leached of its natural oils, and may damage your hair. Aim to shampoo your hair at most every other day or even only twice a week. 2. Try shampoos that do not contain sulfates or parabens. Sulfates are the chemicals that make shampoos lather up. Parabens are preservatives that cause irritation and eye problems after prolonged use. Both of these chemicals aren't healthy for you or the environment so try to use shampoos with natural cleansers 3.. Use conditioner that matches your hair type, length, and treatment damage. A good rule of thumb is to condition every time you shampoo your hair, although very processed or dyed hair probably needs a little more love than natural hair 4. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, use conditioners that come with balanced ingredients. 5. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing, twice a year. Doing this helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it treats dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal. 6. Moisturize your hair. Use five oils: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Alternately, use egg oil. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out. Repeat twice a week. 7. Eat healthily. Give your hair the right amount of vitamins. Since hair is made of proteins, eat a balanced diet rich in lean protein, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet will ensure hair that looks and feels better. • Make sure you get plenty of vitamin C. This vitamin strengthens hair. In addition, iron helps transport oxygen to blood vessels, zinc grows and repairs tissue, and omega-3 fatty acids grow healthy hair. • Give your hair some time to show new brilliance. What you eat will not have an immediate difference on the hair you already have, but it will help with hair that is newly growing. • 8. Remove stress from your life. Physical and mental stressors will keep your hair from realizing its full potential. Stress can cause hair loss, so try not to let stress overcome you. This means finding healthy emotional outlets for your stress: yoga, biking, meditation, or other forms of exercise all work well. Olive oil has long been used as a great way to promote skin health. It also helps the skin of your scalp, and that can in turn boost the health of your hair. Olive oil, as part of a regular hair care regimen, can help your hair and scalp reach their healthiest potential. Make olive oil for hair growth a regular priority in your hair care.

You have provided some details about your wife's condition but certain other details are also needed, which I am mentioning. Please let me know her hba1c level and is she taking any thing else for diabetes other than glucobay? because only glucobay does not control sugar level. Furthe what is her lipid profile? and which drug is she taking for that? then which 5 mg tablet she is taking for her high blood pressure? if she has been diagnosed to have pvd which means blood supply to that part of the lower limb is affected. This can be corrected by vascular surgeon and proper blood supply can be restored. That is the best option for her pain relief and getting undisturbed sleep. To get better control of diabetes she may have to take additional treatment.

Know how Homeopathy constitutional remedies can cure Chronic cases

Hi, I’m Dr. Monty Talwar, practicing in Gurgaon, I have an experience of about 20 years in homeopathy, I practice classical homeopathy wherein we take into account the patient’s nature and temperament especially in chronic cases. The constitutional cases are very deep-acting and they will stimulate the immune system of the patient. Thereby, the patient’s body fights on its own, so we are not providing a continuous stimulus or a medicine from outside as the body takes charge of itself.

The example in thyroid cases, especially in hypothyroidism when we give the constitutional medicine it stimulates the thyroid gland so that it starts secreting the hormone on its own. As a result, the patient can be off the thyroid medicine. Similarly, in frequent colds and coughs in children where they fall sick too often, so these medicines build up the immunity of the child, so that they do not fall sick that often. Because of this individualistic approach, homeopathy is considered to be a holistic science.

If you have any queries or require a consultation with me you can consult me on Lybrate. Thank You.

Ten ways to ease neck pain

Neck stiffness is common and can be uncomfortable enough to hamper day to day life. Ten easy steps can prevent neck pain.

Following are the 10 steps:
Don?t stay in one position for too long
Keep the computer monitor at eye level.
Use the hands-free function of the phone or wear a headset.
Prop your touch-screen tablet or the ipad on a pillow so that it sits at a 45 angle, instead of lying flat on your lap.
Keep your prescription up to date if you wear glasses to prevent leaning your head back to see better.
Don?t use too many pillows as it can stifle your neck?s range of motion.
Before you move a big wardrobe across the room, consider what it might do to your neck and back, and ask for help.
Sleep well.
Call your doctor if neck pain is associated with radiating pain, weakness, or numbness of an arm or leg.
Also call the doctor if you have fever or weight loss associated with your neck pain, or severe pain.

Hi lybrate-user, as it is a symptom of early in morning usually it will be due to gastritis. So it needs to be treated by taking tab. Pan d for 15 days early in morning on empty stomach or before breakfast. Drink plenty of water of atleast 5 to 6 water bottles per day. Also cut down masala foods. Hope I answered your question, don't hesitate to ask me any questions if you have any. Still symptoms persist you need to consult a medical gastro specialist. Have a good day.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which a person finds it difficult to fall asleep or to stay asleep. Insomnia also includes poor sleep quality, restless sleep, waking up several times during sleep, and feeling un-refreshed or tired after waking up.  Homeopathy provides a very safe, effective and non-habit forming treatment of both types of insomnia — acute and chronic. Since the Homeopathic medicines are sourced from natural substances, there are no side-effects. While Insomnia lasting less than a month is considered acute, if the condition continues for more than a month, it is referred to as chronic Insomnia. There are various causes of Insomnia. The prominent ones are stress, grief, depression, emotional disturbance, intake of stimulants like coffee and alcohol, and a huge number of medical reasons (like heart diseases, breathing disorders, thyroid problems, and rheumatoid arthritis). Insomnia is also one of the major concerns in elderly people. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance
