I can't eat spicy food. My mouth always burns if I do that. Is it happening because of my smoking habit?

BDS
Dentist, Ahmedabad
Yes smoking is one of the prime factor causing sub mucous fibrosis which ultimately leads to damage of soft tissues in oral cavity which results in burning sensation while having food. First and primary treatment is quitting the habit of smoking.

I have cavity but no much pain. Whenever i eat my food food beat struck inside the gap tell me what do.
Dear Lybrate user, The cavity is causing the food to get stuck and therefore will increase the decay in the tooth. Please visit your dentist and get a filling done before the cavity gets worse and pain sets in.

Consumption of counter pain relievers like ibuprofen and aspirin are preferred by us, to be consumed to reduce the inflammation caused in the mouth by RCT.

Pain in tooth in the same area where root canal was done previously and cap placed

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Sir I need to see your Xrays before commenting. We do not know if your gums are inflammed or your tooth is causing pain. If it's the gums then I suggest scaling at a local dentist. If it's the tooth then maybe a re-Rct with an endodontist.Take Combiflam for pain relief and tab Flagyl 200 mg three times a day for three to five days.

Tongue Cleaning is as Important as Brushing and Flossing

Tongue cleaning is as important as brushing and flossing. Use of a proper tongue scraper every morning will remove tongue plaque and freshen your breath.

Having dental issue his teeth look yellowish and some mark while he used various medicine.
You need to get dental cleaning and polishing done from a dentist. If teeth are yellowish we need to find the cause for it. Also teeth whitening (bleaching) or esthetic rehab like laminates or veneers can help you.

Bad breath can be due to bad oral hygiene. Please get oral prophylaxis done and use ask the dentist to demonstrate brushing technique for teeth, tongue, cheeks & gums.
