Cleaning a child?s teeth should begin when the first tooth is visible, because teeth are susceptible to decay as soon as they appear in the mouth. Children should also see a dentist every six months to help your child develop a positive attitude about the dentist.

Hello lybrate-user, Maintaining a good oral hygiene is key to oral health. Only brushing does not help in it. You need to floss your teeth (areas between the teeth) and also keep the tongue clean. Along with it, consult a dentist every 6 months for regular checkup and scaling/cleaning and polishing of the teeth. This will help in getting rid of the problem effectively. Thank you.

I have just done wisdom tooth surgery 15 days back. Still some swelling and Irritation is there. Is it ok?

BDS

Ya it is ok if the intensity of pain and swelling is decreasing. Continue with warm saline gargles to keep that area clean.

Our teeth should only be used for chewing purposes. Using them for performing other activities such as cracking nuts, removing bottle tops or ripping open packaging can cause chipped or broken teeth.

Wn can I start eating chicken or non veg?
You can have it, but from other side of the mouth. Avoid soda containing beverages. Avoid spicy food. Brush and rinse thoroughly after eating.

teeth pain can be due to decay or fractured teeth, gum infection or sensitivity. get your teeth x-rayed n go for needful treatment. for decay, you might require rct n cap or removal n replacement by implants or bridge. for gum infection, go for scaling and polishing of teeth. for sensitivity, use desensitizing toothpaste twice daily.
