Hello, pregnancy is a normal phenomenon in the life of a lady. You should be stressfree and take lots of milk products, fruits and vegetables. Your diet should be balanced diet with proteins and minerals. You should avoid very oily and spicy food.

I just give birth to a baby girl on 11/07/2016. Now I am facing a problem that I got my nipples injured and got blood and it pains a lot while my baby feed and what ever cloths I wear get stick with my nipple and hurt a lot when I remove it and I also suffering from gath (hindi word) on breast.

Hi, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, I would advise the following for relief. Simultaneously, however, you must ensure to visit your OB/ GYN too for a clinical examination of your condition. Sore/ injured nipples apart, your breast lump needs to be diagnosed appropriately as well, and treatment recommended apropos. (a) You can apply calendula cream to the nipples after feed and post cleaning them with clean, moist and hot cloth. Ensure to clean your nipples before your next feed. (b) Apply a cool compress to your nipples before you feed. It can help relieve the soreness, if any. Keep changing sides while the child sucks, feeding on the side that is less painful. (c) Avoid wearing tight fitting bra. Make sure, you expose your breasts to fresh air daily. Exposure to sunlight for about a minute daily can help too. (d) Should the pain be unbearable, you may apply an alternating heat and cold treatment for couple of minutes that may alleviate pain. (e) Simultaneously, keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined, you can take tomato soup to which fresh herbs like garlic, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, coriander leaves and oregano has been added, once daily. Especially, vegetables & fruits rich in carotenoids, vitamin C & vitamin B12 are known to help in this condition. (f) Try avoiding tea, coffee, carbonated soft drinks, dairy products including chocolates, alcohol, greasy, sugary and other high calorie food stuff including fast foods etc all. (g) Green tea is an exception though. Stay well hydrated and have at least 8 - 10 glasses of clear fluids through out the day. (h) Homeopathy 'Phytolacca Decandra' mother tincture of which when diluted (1 part: 4 parts water) and applied topically, is known to help in cases of infection, suppuration, swelling of breasts and cracked nipples. Yesterday night during intercourse my condom got burst. So I gave my wife option 72 1.5 mg in order to avoid pregnancy. Is it enough or do I need to do something else in order to avoid pregnancy? Dear My wife occurs infertility problem since 6 years my marriages complete 7 years, but infertility problem till date so 1 irregular periods: 2 ovulations occurs late as per 20 to 22 days In some time no ovulations, all medicines ,injections proper done to take but not conceive 3 blood reports are normal 4 weight as per bmi no problem age 27 and weight 52 KGS 5 thyroids starting problem after diagnosis normal stage last 5 years thyroid tablets continue 50 mg at till normal levels 6 HSG no problem 7 PCT test also normal Please advice me treatment on infertility issues Or treatment Only issue on not proper ovulation in day 14 to 16 so better treatment?

You may consider checking if she is suffering from PCOD (Poly cystic ovarian disease) via tests. Cysts are fluid fill sacs in ovary which block the growth of corpus luteum thus interfering with menstrual cycle & causing infertility. Regular exercise, avoidance of junk/ outside/ fried/ sugary foods & drinks is suggested. Simple carbs like maida, white rice, sugar, honey, jaggery, glucose, potato, sweet potato, colocasia (arvi), noodles, sewai, white bread, biscuits, cake may be replaced with complex carbs- whole grains (multigrain atta, brown rice, dalia, suji, millets, atta bread), whole legumes (sprouts, rajma, soyabean), whole fruits & vegetables. Muri, khoi, chirwa, makhana, rajgira can be included in diet. Water intake should be 2-3 litres/ day. Meditation & yoga help in bringing down stress levels.

If your eggs don't rupture you have to take injection for that and you get infection after intercource your husband should also take the medicin

hi Bharti, in order to conceive you should have good quality egg and sperms and good Fallopian tubes and good uterus if everything is normal you should conceive in 1year of unprotected intercourse. if it is not working out I will need detail clinical history and all investigations which you have done.

सुबह की आठ गलतियों से बचें

क्या सुबह उठने पर आपका मिजाज हमेशा खराब रहता है? क्या आप सुबह का नाश्ता नहीं करते? कुछ ऐसे उपाए हैं जिनसे आप अपनी सुबह की अच्छी शुरुआत कर सकते हैं.

1. झटके से ना उठें: सुबह धीमी गति का समय है. सुबह उठते समय खुदको समय दें और मांसपेशियों को धीरे धीरे हिलाएं. नींद खुलते ही हड़बड़ाना नहीं चाहिए. सुबह की गलतियों का हमारे दिन की गुणवत्ता पर बुरा असर पड़ता है और लंबे समय में इसका गंभीर प्रभाव हमारे स्वास्थ्य और तंदुरुस्ती पर भी होता है. कुछ मिनट शांति से बिताएं, लंबी सांसें लें और कमरे के तापमान का पानी पिएं.

2. स्ट्रेचिंग: जब हम उठते हैं तब हमारी मांसपेशियां खासकर रीढ़ कठोर होती है. सुबह उठकर बिना स्ट्रेचिंग किए हम इस कड़ेपन को आगे ढोते हैं. इससे भी हमारे पूरे दिन के कामकाज पर बुरा असर होता है. सुबह उठने के साथ शरीर को हल्के हल्के हिलाएं. अगर हैमस्ट्रिंग और पिंडलियों में खिंचाव महसूस हो तो धीरे से स्ट्रेचिंग करें और लंबी सांसें लें.

3. दिन की शुरुआत: अच्छे चयापचय का राज सुबह में चाय के साथ शुरूआत नहीं, बल्कि क्षारीय पदार्थ है. सुबह उठकर नींबू का रस और पानी लेना चाहिए और उसके बाद ही चाय या फिर ग्रीन टी का सेवन करना चाहिए.

4. फोन और ईमेल: सुबह उठते ही अपने फोन और ईमेल को चेक करने से बचना चाहिए. ऐसे सोचिए कि आपको उठने के दो घंटे के भीतर ही दुनिया भर की समस्याएं नहीं सुलझानी हैं. आपकी ऊर्जा को सबसे अहम काम पर केंद्रित करना चाहिए ना कि सबसे गैरजरूरी काम पर. सुबह सुबह ईमेल चेक करने से आपकी उत्पादकता नहीं बढ़ सकती. इसके उलटत आपका मिजाज खराब हो सकता है.

5. सुबह का नाश्ता: हाल की कुछ रिपोर्टों में सुबह का नाश्ता नहीं करने को मोटापे, डायबिटीज और कमजोर प्रतिरक्षा से जोड़ा गया है. जरूरी नहीं है कि आप महाराजाओं की तरह नाश्ता करें लेकिन यह जरूरी है कि कुछ खाएं. सुबह के समय ब्लड शुगर का स्तर कम होता है क्योंकि डिनर और नाश्ते के बीच लंबा अंतराल होता है. अगर उठने के आधे घंटे के भीतर कुछ नहीं खाते हैं तो स्तर और गिर जाता है और हम सुस्त हो जाते हैं.

6. तुनकमिजाज: कई ऐसे लोग होते हैं जो सुबह उठकर हर किसी पर चीखते चिल्लाते हैं. लेकिन सुबह का खराब मिजाज सिर्फ 20 मिनट तक रहता है. अपनी सुबह को बेहतर बनाने के लिए प्राकृतिक शांतिदायक आवाजों को सुनें, जैसे चिड़ियों का चहचहाना, सागर की आवाज और मंत्रों का जाप.

7. दिन की योजना: एक दिन पहले ही अगले सुबह की तैयारी कर लें. जैसे दफ्तर के लिए कपड़े तैयार करना और रात में नाश्ते का इंतजाम कर लेना, तो आपकी सुबह जरूर ज्यादा सुकूनभरी होगी और दिन की अच्छी शुरुआत होगी.

8. सिगरेट और कैफीन: बहुत से लोग उठते ही सिगरेट जला लेते हैं या फिर कड़क कॉफी पीते हैं, लंबे समय तक ऐसा करने का शरीर पर बहुत बुरा असर होता है. सुबह उठते ही एक गिलास पानी पीजिए और पाचन तंत्र के लिए फायदेमंद कोई फल खाइए. इसके बाद ही कॉफी पीजिए.

Ovulation is the release of egg from the ovaries. In humans, this event occurs when the de Graaf's follicles rupture and release the secondary oocyte ovarian cells. After ovulation, during the luteal phase, the egg will be available to be fertilized by sperm. If fertilization does not occur the egg dissolves after 24 hours. At this time your hormone levels will decrease and your uterine lining will begin to shed about 12-16 days from ovulation. This is menstruation (menstrual period) and brings us back to day 1 of your cycle. The journey then begins all over again. Ovulation is one part of the female menstrual cycle whereby a mature ovarian follicle (part of the ovary) discharges an egg (also known as an ovum, oocyte, or female gamete). It is during this process that the egg travels down the fallopian tube where it may be met by a sperm and become fertilized.

Ways to Deal With Pregnancy Mood Swings

Pregnancy brings with it many changes, such as physical and emotional. On one hand, you are changing your appearance completely as a person. On the other, your hormones are playing havoc and you are not sure if you are feeling happy, sad, confused, anger all at the same time or within short timespan. There could also be forgetfulness in some women.

It is not just you, but people around you also who are not sure how to manage this, especially your partner, who needs to be explained why this is happening.  If you already have a child, don't be surprised if the first child feels very nervous and anxious about your mood swings.

However, good news is that these mood swings settle down and can be managed with a little bit of conscious effort.  It is generally noted that the mood swings are worst in the first trimester and settle down gradually during the second trimester onwards.  Women are more in control of their emotions and feelings. Though you may not voice it out, there are many concerns going on in your head with your pregnancy and these definitely make you anxious. As your due date nears, expect a surge in your anxiety/fear levels.

Simple methods to deal with mood swings:

  1. Talk it out: Whether your concern is, if your baby will be healthy or how will you manage finances, the best option is to discuss with your spouse about the same.  You could also  find support with close friends and relatives. Look for online support groups or from friends from your doctor's clinic you will find that everybody lends an ear and shoulder to support you.
  2. Rest: Pregnancy is extremely tiring physically and fatigue adds to your irritability.  As it also plays with your regular sleep patterns, try and get as much rest and sleep for shorter durations whenever possible.  If you are working, discuss with your boss to be able to take breaks.
  3. Exercise: Consult with your doctor and make sure you follow an exercise regime tailored for you. This not only reduces fatigue but makes you more active and less irritable.
  4. Nutrition: While you have your cravings, ensure you eat a healthy balanced diet. This not only contributes to physical well-being but also your emotional health.
  5. Socialize: Try and make new friends or spend time with old ones.  They would be extremely delighted to hear your small talks and in the process, you would feel relaxed and happy too.
  6. Pamper yourself:  While there is no point going shopping or pub hopping, treat yourself to a massage at a nearby spa or spend time reading a book or watching a movie. These can be extremely relaxing and easy to follow.

Needless to say, as much as they may sound unpleasant, the entire experience of these mood swings will leave you a different person.

This is hyperemesis and is normal in pregnancy and she has to eat small amounts of food and sips of water throughout the day.

Hi sir/madam Am pregnant for the second time and now 3 months pregnant. The pain I get in the upper hips is what I can't tolerate. It is so much that I can not even turn by side when I laid down straight. This did not happened in my first pregnancy. Please help me saying y am getting this type of pain. Thanking you.

Hi Erum! such pains and aches are common in pregnancy. And every pregnancy is different! you can use hot water bottle and iodex for the pain. If severe pain is there you can painkiller after completing 3 months.
