Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.

1.First of all try to enjoy or find enjoymnt in what you are doing because if we dont enjoy our work we will find excuses and moreover we will exhaut early. 2.Daily morning 15 minutes each ALOM VILOM PRANAYAAM and KAPAL BHATI PRANAYAM 3.Eat healthy/Balanced diet and avoid fried, junk and oily food, avoid overeating Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins (A)Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. (B) Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. That is why people who follow starvation diets or go on fasting lose muscle tissue. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi). (C) Fats: Required and healthy when taken in small amounts. Excess fat leads to weight gain, increase in bad cholesterol (LDL) and heartproblems (a) Major fats sources: Egg yolk (Yellow portion), Avocados, Whole Milk, Butter, Cheese, Nuts. (b) Other fats sources: Corn, Vegetable/Olive oil, Biscuits, Flaxseeds(San Beej). (D) Vitamins and Minerals: Critical for normal functioning of organs and processes within our body. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. (E) Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. (F) Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. (G) Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk. 4.Always usestairs rather than lift 5.Try to help your parent in house work 6,Be attentive, alert and focused in what you are doing.Mean avoid day dreaming 7.Drink lots of water and 2 glass milk daily. 8.Always work with your target and motive towards your aim.Dream of your aim rather than beyond your aim 9.Set up small goals in your life and achieve these one by one while moving towards your aim. 10.Always keep in your mind that life is very harsh and you have to nitch a name for yourself otherwise you will be lot in this harsh world like most of other. 11..Always keep the above 10 points in your mind which will help you to remain focused and once focused ,you will automatically gain stamina aand power to do work. 12. . BRAMARI PRANAYAM or Bee Breath 1.Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2.Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3.Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. .4.Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. .5.Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6.Repeat twenty times.starting from 5 times 13.Follow the above 12 points and you will strat feeling energetic After 30 days again consult me

I want to know what are the activities should be followed to cure depression or a daily schedule.
How you got diagnosed as depression because depression is diagnose if it covers five criteria like low feeling, negative thoughts, aversion to socialization, weeping tendency, sleeplessness or excessive sleep loss or excessive appetite and this has mostly two reasons, one is due to circumstantial and other assumed stress. For treating it you need both counseling and medication. Do meditation daily at morning after wake up with more positive things and at night sleep think about positive thing avoid to use mobile.

Acupuncture - Why Should You Use it to Combat Pain?

MD - Acupuncture, Ph.D Advance Course in Acupunctre

Acupuncture - Why Should You Use it to Combat Pain?

Conventional medicine treats pain with the help of medications; by either blocking the transmission of pain signals in the body or by correcting the underlying problems caused by the pain in the first place. However, traditional and alternative forms of medicine such as acupuncture manage pain issues within the body through the means of redirecting disrupted energy flows. One of the very few forms of alternative treatments used in conjunction with conventional treatments, acupuncture is seen as a mercurial rise in popularity in the past few decades.

What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture dates back to ancient China, about 2500 years ago. It has been widely practiced there for a number of millennia, not only pain relief, but also for treating many ailments. Acupuncture isn’t just considered a form of therapy, but a holistic form of medicine. Acupuncture works on the principle of the flow of energy within the body, also known as ‘Qi’, in traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture strives to correct the disruptions in ‘Qi’ that may cause pain by manipulating over 2000 of the specific pressure points within the body with the help of specially created needles.

Where is acupuncture effective?
Acupuncture is very effective in treating a host of ailments, especially in relieving the associated pain. Some of the areas where acupuncture has proven its effectiveness are:
1. Treating nausea and vomiting caused due to chemotherapy treatment for cancer patients

2.  Very useful in treating post-operative pain caused due to dental procedures
3.  Rehabilitating patients who have suffered strokes
4.  Fibromyalgia (musculo-skeletal pain with fatigue accompanied by sleep and memory issues)
5.  Effective in combating withdrawal symptoms caused due to addiction
6.  Pain from menstrual cramps
7.  Tennis elbow
8.  Osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis caused due to the erosion of tissues present at the ends of one’s bones)
9.  Pain of the lower vertebrae within the spinal column
10. Asthma

How does acupuncture work within the body?
According to modern medicine, the specific pressure points utilized by acupuncture within the body help in releasing chemicals that can block or at least reduce pain. It encourages the flow of chemicals from the brain, which act as nerve and pain blockers. It also helps stimulate the muscles and nerve endings, which can lessen inflammation and thus help in reducing pain. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an acupuncturist.

Does Homeopathy Help In Treating Autism?

BHMS
Homeopath, Mumbai
Does Homeopathy Help In Treating Autism?

Homeopathy the science which has given so much to the society yet the one which is commonly persecuted as placebo effect, it isn’t science so on and so forth. But we are not just believers we are a bunch of intellects who have seen the efficacy of the science and art when practised in the correct manner has yielded best results.

I have seen many cases where there was no hope to offer to the suffering, but Homeopathy came to their rescue. Homeopathy is a science based on sound scientific principles and has a complete pharmacopeia describing the effects of the medicines.

We get queries from all over the world for Homeopathic treatment for Autism, we have seen encouraging results with Homeopathic medicines, not only did these Homeopathic medicines were easy to give but also effective. No side effects, what else can one expect but still lot of those suffering kids do not get the benefit of Homeopathic medicines. Thanks to the bad publicity drive by so many from ulterior motives.

We take into consideration the reports by the Early intervention team and it also undergoes the detailed Homeopathic case taking which is an essential part to select the right homeopathic medicines that suits the individual. As homeopathic medicine is highly individualised we need to find the correct remedy that suits the individual, so it can make the positive impact on the individual and help in dealing with the disorder.

Some parents are worried about the distance how can Dr. Joshi’s center for Autism help patients in other parts of the world, but we have seen the complete treatment cycle from various countries and states and successfully implemented our treatment protocol seamlessly.

Homeopathic medicine can be given for long term without any side effects, and we have seen that the percentage of regression after improvement decreases.

Give your child the Homeopathic care and it can brings encouraging change and benefits the child in the long run. Time is precious don’t waste it.

Hi lybrate-user, If left untreated, migraines can linger for four hours to three days. Stop the suffering sooner by putting yourself in a migraine-soothing environment and trying various natural remedies or medications believed to help treat these throbbing headaches. Stay in the dark room until your migraine goes away, or for as long as possible. Wear sunglasses when necessary. If you have to be out and about and are unable to get to an area with soft light or no light, wear polarizing sunglasses to protect your eyes from the brightest parts of the light spectrum. This may not be quite as effective as spending a few minutes in a dark room, but it will usually still help. If you cannot go to a separate room, wear noise-canceling headphones over your ears to block out external noise. Some individuals find silence stressful or unnerving. If this is the case, run a white noise machine or air purifier in the background to provide soothing ambient sound. You could also try soothing music; however, avoid loud or exciting tunes. Deep breathing exercises can relax the body, thereby releasing any tension that might be contributing to your migraine. Lie on your back with a pillow below your head and a second pillow below your knees. Your legs should be somewhat bent. Place your dominant hand on your upper chest and your other hand below your rib cage. Breathe in slowly through your nose until your stomach pushes against your non-dominant hand. Breathe out slowly through pursed lips as you tighten your stomach. Keep your dominant hand still throughout the entire process. Do this routine for about five minutes. A cold washcloth applied to your achy head can cause the blood vessels there to contract, which slows down the rush of blood to your head. Wet a soft, clean washcloth with cold water and place it over your forehead or on the back of your neck. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Take a 10 to 15 minute break before applying the compress again, and continue in this pattern until your migraine goes away. Note that in some instances, however, cold temperatures can actually make a migraine headache feel worse. If the pain increases within the first 5 minutes of treatment, stop immediately and try something else. Stand under a cold shower with the water running over the top of your head for at least 15 minutes. Give yourself a head massage while you shampoo. This helps to reduce the tensions in your body while releasing the heat from your scalp. Lightly squeeze the excess water from your hair, but keep it damp. Do not dry your hair. Lie down in a cool room while your hair is still damp and try to sleep for a while. You can place a towel over your pillow if you are worried about it being wet. There are often certain foods that can trigger migraines in people; what the triggers are will vary from individual to individual. You can determine any dietary triggers you may have by recording what you ate prior to the onset of a migraine headache, and looking to see if there are any patterns over time. Common dietary triggers of migraine headache include: Foods containing aspartame or MSG Alcohol, Chocolate, Cheese, Salami, Caffeine. Caffeine is a paradox when it comes to migraines. Too much can bring a migraine on, but taking a little caffeine after a migraine comes upon you can actually help the pain to go away. Only take a small dose of caffeine: one soda, one cup of coffee, one cup of tea, or one chocolate bar is sufficient. Avoid energy drinks high in caffeine. Note that this generally only works if your migraine was not originally triggered by caffeine. As long as the pain has not made moving around unbearable for you, light aerobic exercise can get your blood flowing to other areas of your body and cause your migraine to vanish. Aerobic exercise worth trying during a migraine may include brisk walking or jogging, cycling, or swimming. As your heart pumps, your blood circulation will improve and stabilize throughout your body, causing the blood to stop rushing to your head. Additionally, exercise is a good way to relax and get your mind off any stresses that may have triggered the migraine. Keep a migraine diary. When a migraine comes on, make a note of the environmental conditions surrounding it. Write down sensory stimuli (bright lights, loud music, odd odors, etc.), causes of stress, dietary habits, and sleep habits. After a few attacks, review your diary to pinpoint common conditions that usually exist before a migraine comes on. These conditions are your “triggers” and should be avoided to prevent or limit future migraines. Some home remedies you can do: Eat jaggery with ghee. Add a teaspoon of dried tulsi leaf powder and it gets even better. Practice pranayama, especially recommended if you have migraine in which case munching grapes or licking honey to which you add turmeric and salt prove helpful. Garlic is a useful herb and in case of headaches too you can chew a couple of cloves early in the morning or make a paste and apply to your head. Asafetida is a useful elixir for headaches, use asafetida mixed in oil and applied over the forehead as well as consumed internally for relief in headaches. All the best.
